Drake's POV

The outing I had with Ivy and Charlotte uplifted my spirit and I was looking forward to another one with them.

I couldn't help it, and maybe it showed in my recent activities. That would be the only reason why Jason is in my office, looking at me with a suspicious smile.

"Okay, enough of all this smile and no talk. Tell me what is going on." He urged,

I smiled at him and continued my work.

I was so happy I whistled in my office. Now, I wasn't sure what exactly boosted my happiness, the way Charlotte and Ivy accepted me in their midst or the times I locked gaze with Charlotte and she didn't hate me for it.

"Hhmm...I'll pass," I replied and Jason almost swallowed me whole.

"Don't play with me, Drake. Spill!" He exclaimed, making me chuckle.

"Okay, okay, I am happy because of Charlotte." I spilled the beans but it was as though a bomb was released instead.

Jason's smiley face morphed into a confused slash displeased one.

"Explain." Was his response and I almost bit my ton
