Charlotte's POV

I was glad to see the two having fun together without complications. Drake agreed to keep things on a low and not reveal that Ivy was his child. It might not seem like much but that was a big deal to me.

I knew what the media could do and I wasn't ready to expose my daughter to the wicked part of the world just yet. And seeing how Drake also thought of that made me happy.

If a good father was what I could give to Ivy in all of this, then I would gladly do my best to let them get along now and build a relationship.

I was worried though, I had lied to her countless times now about her dad and it bothered me. Telling her another story about her dad and showing Drake to her as her dad would be a big twist and might be confusing to her.

After I’d told her that her dad was dead. How would I tell her that the man she always hung out with and the man Sawyer hated was her dad? It bothered me but I tried not to think so much about it.
