Sebastian pov

"Good day sir," Mr. Benson of Pinnacle Inc. said to three of us even though his gaze was fixed on me alone.

"Yeah," I took my seat alongside Andrew and Courtney who fixed their eyes on the papers that they had been reading ever since they arrived. "We're sorry for the late arrival."

He just chuckled lightly and with a wave of his hand, he spoke up. "There's nothing wrong with that, it's just four minutes."

"Well, I've seen what a minute lateness can cause," I responded to him in a brusque tone, and he leaned in like he was more interested in what I was saying than what we both came here for, and that prompted me to speak once more. "But since that's not what we came here for today, then let's push that aside."

He nodded in agreement, his response coming swiftly. "You're right," he said, then pulled out a stack of papers and handed them to a woman who appeared to be his manager. She efficiently passed the documents along, and moments later, they landed in front of us.
