Julian opened the car door. A woman wearing a mask and carrying a medical kit stepped out. She was a doctor.

She paused briefly outside the villa, glancing around the surroundings before following Julian inside.

When the woman entered Sarah’s room, she began changing her bandages. Leon had just been called away by Julian, likely for something urgent.

The doctor gently removed the gauze from Sarah’s hands and feet. The bandages were stained with blood. She took out a bottle of antibiotics from her kit, crushed the pills on the spot, and sprinkled the powder directly onto Sarah’s wounds.

Just as Sarah was lost in thought, she heard the doctor speak in a low voice.

“Sarah, I’m here to help you.”

Sarah froze and stared at her. The woman quickly pulled down her mask. The face was unfamiliar. No matter how hard Sarah tried, she couldn’t remember ever seeing her before.
