“Julia!” Greta shrieked, rushing in.

She tried to reach for Atlas but I slapped her hand away.

“Julia, this is not the time—”

“Why are you here? What do you want?”

“I want to help! There’s a jet waiting on the roof. Please let me—“

“No,” I shook my head, memories of her betrayal replaying in my mind. “We’ll find another way. What if you set us up again?”

Greta’s eyes softened, tears leaking from its corners. “I… I would never do that to you, Julia. Please, trust me,” she glanced behind, “we’ll all die if we wait any longer!”
