I slammed the car door shut as I alighted, tightening my grip around the handle of my bag. As I walked past the window of the back seat, I caught a glance of my slightly swollen face from that night on the deck.

I was trying to save her, but no... I was the villain as always. I hissed on pain as I caressed the spot Ryan had dealt multiple blows to my face, lowering my hand back to my side.

"He just jumped me out of nowhere, I was only trying to talk to her." I said to my reflection as my grip tightened around the handle of the bag.

"Ryan, that son of a—"

I sighed, continuing my trip around the car when I saw a parked truck in front of the house.

"What the hell is going on here..." My voice trailed as I ran to the door of the house, peering inside the building.

"Okay, boys that one goes to the truck!" My head snapped to the direction of the voice yelling out loud instructions.
