Chapter 18 Pissing Him Off

Jace's footsteps faltered as he came to a stop by the restroom door only for it to pull open and came to face to face with a sight he could not have been prepared for.

Kiera stood before him, her appearance marred by dishevelled hair and smudged makeup. Her red eyes shone as she stared at him and then looked back before averting her gaze to him.

Shock and concern washed over Jace as he stared at her. “Kiera…” His voice was laced with worry. "What happened?" he asked, his gentle tone tinged with disbelief.
