Blood! Crimson Blood soaked the yellow t-shirt of Jason.
When Daisy, Nicolas, Alex and Helen reached outside the hotel, they found Jason lying under the shade of an empty shade of a closed food stall. There were rarely any visitors on the road at such late hours of the night.
Jason was lying in a pool of blood, pressing his right hand on the wound of his left hand which was bleeding badly.
“Jason! Oh my God! You are bleeding so badly,” Helen cried, kneeling next to Jason and pulling his head on her lap.
“Let’s take him back inside the hotel. He can’t walk as his left knee is also injured so we have to carry him,” Alex stated, standing next to Nicolas who was examining Jason with a curious and worried expression.

Next day, it was a busy morning for Miller family. Exactly at 10:00 am, the track came and after loading all their luggage, they started their journey towards Los Angeles from Phoenix. It was a long way. During the whole journey, Daisy was enjoying the view of the road.
