Chapter 71

“Averill,” Noah called her name as she walked to and fro while they’re outside the emergency room. Paulo is being treated inside.

Noah was against them going here personally but he cannot leave Averill alone with the man. He does not know what Paulo would do nor who he really is. He hasn’t done his investigation yet. Whatif Paulo is an accomplice? Noah cannot let Averill be with a murderer.

“Can we sue that man?”

“John? Nah, it would just be a headache,” Noah said casually. He doesn’t really wanna deal with the Hulsons right now. He got a lot on his plate.

“But this is overboard, Noah,”

“He deserves it,”

“What?”

“You knew, didn’t you?”

Averill remained silent. She already deciphered what Noah is talking about and she got no excuse. She really knew about the secret relationship of Yanna with Paulo though she’s not really sure whether it was a secret.

“Where’s Paulo?!” A woman in hysterics rushed inside the hospital, she looked like she just got out of a meeting. It was Paulina, Paulo’s
