Though she was nagged by worry she shook it off and started taking off her clothes, letting them  fall and pool around her feet…..

She had dialled her parents number as soon as she saw the message her father sent her.

‘Stay safe and hidden Sabrina. We are okay and will not be staying in Mexico for sone times. I will be sending you our location in 2 days and then you get to us as soon as possible.’—Dad

It was really a very suspicious message. It ft as if something was fishy. Why would her father suddenly leave the home with her mother? Where were they heading off to and why?

She shook her head as the call was again not attended….

She is Sabrina. Sabrina Leonardo. She is 18 years old. Daughter of Leonardo Lee and Alice Greene. Her father worked with some organisation she has little to no idea of and her mother is a housewife. She is the only child and very dear to her parents.

She was studying here in the prestigious university in another city on scholarship. She met her father’s friend son Jackson Mateo here in this city. Jackson had really insisted for a chance.

She though wasn’t much fond of him, yet gave him chance and now it’s been 2 months to their relationship. Jackson lives with her in their tiny apartment for time being as he has a job here and they decided to stay together. Though they were in relationship, Sabrina preferred separate room and no intimacy till their relationship was official.

Sabrina shook her head and tried calling Jackson and much to her surprise, Jackson also didn’t answer his call…..

She let the shower on and started to take shower as she massaged her scalp gently to ease the now emerged throbbing pain.

Quickly taking a bath she got out of her bathroom and started to wear the bra and underwear wear. She just pulled on her short shorts when she heard the knock on her room door.

The house main door is locked so how can someone enter the house and knock on her door?

Suspicion arose in her mind she felt scared.

Another knock came.

She frowned and and then quickly wore the black camisole.

“Who is it?” She asked nearing the door.

“Sabrina it’s me Jackson.” The voice on the end of door said.

Sabrina sighed in relief and not giving much thought she opened the door.

Just as she opened the door a gasp escaped her mouth and her eyes widened in sheer horror.

It wasn’t Jackson….

It was some unknown man!

“W-who are you—.” Before she could have spoken a word she was overpowered by a man and forcefully, overpowered by the huge man. She tried to push him but she was too little and small for the man.

She only remember the man laughing loudly and saying “got such fine piece of meat! Boss will be pleased” as last thing as she fell in the abyss of darkness…..

The thick smoke of cigar covered the room as the silence fell heavily upon the room. No sound could be heard till a footstep nearing the room were heard soon followed by a knock on the door.

"Come in...." A thick voice from inside the room answered. The man entered the room and walked near the table

"Boss?" His voice confident as he looked at the tall man sitting on leather chair with his one leg over other as he took in the deep inhale of the cigar.

"Is it done?" Only three simple words spoken but they could change someone life entirely for good or bad.

"Yes Boss." The man answered with same confidence and the work was indeed done smoothly.

"Good....." the reply came after some seconds as a deep whiff of cigar is inhaled again.

"Anything else sir?" The man asked for any other order as he tied his hand on his back.

"Yes! No one touches the girl! Is it clear?" Icy voice cut through the air.

Dead clear...

The man leaned back in his seat with a evil look and victorious smirk on his face.

Time for Payback.....!

The man sat there with a box of cigarettes. Lightening the seventh cigarette, he heaved a sigh.

Oh Lord! forgive us for our sins......

Tears rolled down his eyes as he looked at his destruction.

Only for few millions......

He sold his faith........

The words kept ringing in his mind as he repented over his crime for which he knows he had to pay with his most beloved........

CRASH!

He threw the vase on wall harshly as the same word kept ringing repeatedly.

Falling on his knees, he cried louder.

“Curse you Jackson! You bastard!” He cursed loudly as he felt his fear increase.

The door opened revealing his beautiful wife.

Alice  let out a shriek upon seeing the scene in front of her. Broken vase....her husband on his knees....crying.....

"Leonardo! Leonardo what happened!" She started panicking as she down on the cold floor along with her husband.

"Please forgive me Alice . I have committed a grave sin and I am so sorry please forgive me please!" The man cried helplessly as sweat rolled down his forehead.

The wife hugged her husband before again asking.

"Leonardo what is wrong? What have you done?" The man cried looking down uttering no word.

"LEONARDO TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG?" She shouted this time having enough. Her head pounding with pressure.

"Alice  I-…. I work with some people…I lied to you you always about my work…. I am not a real estate dealer…. I am ashamed to tell you this but I am a gangster.” Leonardo said with utmost shame.

“W-what? What are you kidding about Leo?! We have been married for 20 years and you say you were lying all along? Are you fooling with me right now?!” Alice was stunned at his statement.

She thought he was fooling with her.

“Alice I am sorry…but this is true…I always had lied to you…I thought you will not marry me knowing what I do for earning….,”

Alice stunned looked at him who now held his forehead with both hands.

"Wh-what! But......Leonardo you how could you?! This is not fair! Okay Okay I get it you lied to me and my daughter but what are you now crying about and who were those people you worked with and had introduced me on several events?! Were they all gangsters?!.." the woman wiped her tears and accusingly but with pity looked at her husband.

"Alice  I-I work with S-Scorpions…."

The very statement was enough for Alice to lose her breath.

Scorpion were the most dangerous gang of Mexico. They are feared by all. There root are also spread in Italy and many other countries….

“Y-you must be joking?! Leonardo!!  Tell me you are joking!”

“I am sorry Alice…” Leonardo said in utter shame.

“Oh God! Oh God! I can’t believe you Leonardo!! You have kept me in so much dark!! Why in hell were you crying?!”

Alice asked worriedly feeling that their was more to this news….

“Alice..they will kill me soon! I am so scared Alice!! They will not leave me alive!!”

He said panicking more.

“W-what?! What are you speaking now!! Tell me clearly! Speak Leonardo!”

Alice said breathing heavily.

“I…I leaked scorpion new smuggling unloading information to ICE mafia….they have successfully stolen scorpion’s smuggled gold….they gave me large sum… I was blinded by the lust for money…..”

Alice was more confused than ever, “S-so you told the route and helped them with stealing?! Now the Scorpion will come to know it was someone among them….so that is why you said we have to immediately leave the country?! You brought me here not on trip but for hiding!!!”

Alice tried to gather and assemble all the information that was too overwhelming for her.

“Yes….I really didn’t wanted to betray scorpions but That bastard Jackson Mateo! He persuaded me to leak it to his boss! I was so thirsty for money I did and now I realised I have fucked up bad! Alessandro will soon know who it was and then he will kill me!!”

Leonardo let it out.

“Jackson?? You mean the same Jackson Mateo who is our daughter new boyfriend?!” Alice asked screaming.

Leonardo was extremely ashamed and nodded.

“Oh God! Our daughter is with a criminal and you let her be!!! How could you!! I can’t believe it you are so selfish Leonardo!” Alice screamed more.

“I know—.”

“Oh God!! Sabrina is their in Mexico alone!!! What if scorpion reach her and kill her!!! Oh God!! Oh God!!!” Alice started to panic as she got up from the floor.

“Wait Alice— Sabrina is safe I never told them I have a daughter…. I told Sabrina to stay safe….as for Jackson…he must be hiding himself.” Leonardo said trying to calm his wife.

“What….how could you be so relax….our daughter is their all alone what if they….” Alice went silent after that shaking her head in fear….

The silence loomed in the room.

The sudden ringing of Leonardo phone with new sim card cut through the thick tension in room, making both of them look at it at once.....
