Maya POV.

5 days later.

Today was Saturday.

And just like any other Saturday, we were all lounging in the house with no school or work activity.

All week, Mona had been pestering her dad to take us to the movies, so he finally decided that we'd have movie night at home tonight.

It was 7:30 p.m. and we had ordered pizza.

Patiently, we waited for it to arrive so we could start watching our movies.

Before now, Mr. Jonah was adamant about us spending time on television instead of stud

  • All Shades of Passion   Chapter 7: Flexibility

Bailey POVAfter four straight days of hard sprints, Mark's body needed a break. His hamstrings were tight. His hips were stiff. I could see the tension sitting in his lower back every time he bent forward during warm-ups.So Saturday morning, we weren't running.Today was stretching and mobility work.I laid out two mats on the grass at the far end of Lincoln Park, away from the joggers on the main track. Private. Quiet.Just us.I was already regretting the setup before he showed up."Morning, Coach."I looked up and wished I hadn't.Mark walked toward me in black shorts and a white tank top that clung to every muscle like a second skin. His arms, shoulders, chest, all of it on display. My eyes dipped for half a second. Then snapped back up."Sit down," I said. "We're starting with seated forward folds. Legs straight, reach for your toes."We both sat on our mats, facing each other.I folded forward easily, fingers wrapping around my shoes. Years of training made it second nature.M

  • All Shades of Passion   Chapter 6: Control

Bailey POVThe next few sessions followed the same pattern.I pushed. He performed. We kept things professional.Or at least, I tried to.Mark showed up on time every morning, warmed up without complaint, and followed my program to the letter. He didn't flirt. Didn't cross any lines. Didn't mention the lounge. He was the perfect student. And that somehow made everything worse.Because when he wasn't being cocky, when he wasn't testing me, I had nothing to hide behind. No anger to shield me. No irritation to keep my walls up.Just him.Working hard.Sweating.Breathing.Moving.And me, trying not to notice.By Thursday, I decided to push him harder than I had all week. Not because his training needed it, but because I thought he'd get tired and give up.I felt like a woman standing too close to fire. And I hated that feeling. "Repeat sprints," I announced as he finished his warm-up. "Two hundred meters. Ten sets. Ninety seconds rest between each."He looked at me."Ten?""You heard m

  • All Shades of Passion   Chapter 5: Boundaries

Bailey POVI didn't sleep that night.Every time I closed my eyes, I saw his face. That stupid, cocky grin. Those pale blue eyes dragging over my body like he had every right to look.Mark.My student. My athlete. The boy who now held the most the humiliating secret of my life in his hands.I rolled over in bed and stared at the ceiling, my chest tight with frustration. How did I let this happen? One decision. One reckless, emotional decision, and now I was trapped.Phillip's words still echoed somewhere in the back of my mind, but they felt distant now, buried under something heavier.Fear.Real, suffocating fear.If Mark talked, my career was over. Everything I'd built since retiring from the track, every late night, every sacrifice, gone. Just like that. All because I danced in a lounge for five thousand dollars I hadn't even collected yet.My phone buzzed on the nightstand.I grabbed it.Unknown number."Tomorrow. 6 AM. Lincoln Park track. Don't be late, Coach."My jaw clenched so

  • All Shades of Passion   Chapter 4: Complicated

My stomach twisted so hard that I thought I might faint. For a second, I couldn’t breathe.Couldn’t think.Couldn’t move. This was one of my students. Oh God, what was he doing here?Mark stood in the doorway, tall, broad-shouldered, his athletic frame filling the space like he owned it. His black jacket hung open, his hair slightly damp like he’d just come from training. His eyes moved again.Slowly.Deliberately.From my face to my body.Heat flooded my body instantly.I yanked the robe tighter around myself.“Mark,” I snapped, my voice sharper than intended. “Turn around.”He didn’t.Didn’t even blink.Instead, one corner of his mouth lifted into a slow, crooked grin.“Well,” he said casually, leaning against the doorframe like this was the most normal thing in the world. “This is definitely not how I expected my night to go.”My pulse pounded violently in my ears.“What are you doing here?” I demanded. His gaze dragged down my body again, completely unapologetic.“Same question, C

  • All Shades of Passion   Chapter 3: Under the Lights

Bailey POVBy the time I parked outside the lounge, there was no turning back. The building looked nothing like the cheap club I had imagined. Soft lighting spilled from the entrance, and the place had an expensive, quiet feel that made my nerves twist tighter.I walked in, gave Lola’s name at the desk, and was pointed down a hallway toward a dressing room.No fuss.No questions.Just business.Inside the room, Lola’s bag sat waiting on the table. I unzipped it and stared at what she’d packed.Tiny black straps. A platinum wig. An eye mask.I let out a short breath.“Lord help me.”Getting dressed didn’t take long, but it felt strange, like putting on someone else’s life. The outfit barely covered anything, hugging tight in places I wasn’t used to showing. When I finally looked up at the mirror, I stopped. Not for long.Just enough.Phillip’s voice echoed in my head.Tiny breasts.Flat ass.Too masculine. My gaze moved slowly over my reflection. He was wrong.Completely wrong. My body

  • All Shades of Passion   Chapter 2: The Gig II

Bailey POVI pulled into my apartment complex a few minutes later and grabbed my keys, jogging up the stairs two at a time.Get in. Grab the stopwatch. Get out.And in the process, try not to jump in bed with Philip. He'd complained earlier about me being so busy with work. So I figured I would surprise him with a movie date tonight, after my class.A small smile tugged at my lips as I reached the door.We hadn’t seen each other in weeks before he flew in. Vegas to Indiana was a long stretch, but we made it work. We never let the distance break us.I unlocked the door and stepped inside.“Phil?” I called. No answer. That was strange.Usually, he answered right away, even if he was half asleep.I shut the door behind me and slipped off my shoes, setting my keys on the table.“Phillip?” I called again, a little louder this time.Still nothing.Then. A sound.Soft. Faint.I froze mid-step.At first, I thought it was the television.Or music. But then it came again.Low.Breathy.A woman’

  • All Shades of Passion   Chapter 54: Thanksgiving

Fabian POV.Dallas, Texas.27th November 2025.The smell of roasting turkey hit me the moment I stepped into the living area. Cinnamon, baked apples, pumpkin pie.The house was alive with warmth and familiarity. I paused, letting the scents wash over me. It had been four years since I’d been home

Steven POV.The Next Morning.I turned in my sleep, staring awake as I heard movements. Sounds floated to me from all over the house."Oh, for Christ's sake, who was making that noise this early?" I murmured, and dragged my pillow, placing it around my head, trying to drown out the noise. But the

Steven POV.I didn’t breathe for a full second.Fabian stood shirtless in the hallway. Broad shoulders, sleepy eyes, hair still tousled from the night we spent tearing each other apart. He looked like sex itself, like the exact evidence of what Bailey had accused me of. And Bailey… oh God.Her br
