Chapter 7: One Drink

Monalisa POV.

Ethan took me to a club in the area.

The place seemed to be teeming with a lot of bars, lounges, restaurants, Casinos, and Hotels.

We walked into the club and immediately my brows shot up.

I'd never been to a club before, this was my first time.

I didn't know what to expect, but the place was big, a bit dark, and had so many colorful lights.

There was a large counter with lots and lots of drinks lining the shelf behind. Surrounding the counter were tall barstools.

There was a small stage in a corner and a DJ stood up there, playing some loud music.

Tall round tables dotted the place with no seats.

The place was empty, save for a handful of people.

Ethan led us to the counter.

"Where's everyone?" I asked, I thought a club would be full of people.

"It's still early, most of them haven't arrived yet," he drew close, whispering directly into my ear so I could hear him, even though the music wasn't that loud.
