“Alpha, you and Luna are invited to Alpha Adonis’ party. I don’t think it is necessary for me and my mate to attend it.” Rowan said to Alpha Axel who summoned us to meet him in his office.

Rowan’s denial seemed to have a reverse reaction on Axel. He raised his brow at him. Obviously, he was displeased with Rowan’s negative answer. My heart was hammering against my chest but Rowan had pushed me behind him.

“I don’t see any problem in this? Betas are supposed to join their Alphas during such events, it doesn’t matter if they are invited or not. You are coming with me because it is not any party, it is Blue Moon Pack’s party, our arch enemies.” Axel said.

“I understand, Alpha but I am sure if Alpha Adonis has invited, he must have a good reason. Perhaps, he wants to break the ice between our packs.” Rowan replied quietly.
