[ Gemma ]

“Can we take a bath together?”

I didn’t know what had gotten into me. I just followed the instinct of my heart and boldly vocalized my desires.

“Gemma?”

He narrowed his eyes, confusion and shock were evident on his face. I predicted it and I was also surprised by my heart’s yearning.

I took a deep breath and then matched his eyes, he was still waiting for my confirmation but I could feel his heartbeats racing up and his adam’s apple bobbing up and down.

“I am going to take a shower, if you want to come, the door is open.” I said and turned my back to him.

My own heart wanted to leap out of my chest but I knew my body was craving for his touch. It seemed to have its own mind whenever he’s around me.

I stripped out of my clothes. My body shivered when air touched my naked body.

The bathroom was filled with steam curling around the walls like white mist. The glass of the shower fogged, enclosing us in our own sanctuary.
