Ivana was just as patient as her older sister, however, waiting for Zack’s arrival that day made her both uneasy and scared. Rejection was already in her mind even if she accepted Zack as her mate, hence, she started thinking about what to do afterwards. She bit her fingernail as her mind spiraled into a lot of what-ifs.

A second chance mate? That was highly unlikely, especially for someone like her who was only half werewolf. As an omega, torture after rejection might just be the end of her. She may be mentally prepared, however, her body would not be able to withstand it. From the information she had gathered so far, the majority of rejected omegas had lost their sanity after years of pain, which resulted in them losing their life. For a half-blooded omega like her, there was a chance she could not last even for a year or worse, half a year.

“Ah!” she squealed when she heard a knock on the door.
