Valerie:

It took me a second to realize that the man might have actually cheated on whoever that girl was with me.

His eyes refused to meet mine throughout the entire call, but I tended to my business of cleaning and tending to his wound before taking a step back the second that I was done.

My chest burned with a feeling that I didn’t understand, and though I knew that it wasn’t jealousy, I didn’t even think of having feelings for the man; but it was more or less my annoyance at the fact that I was used the way that I was.

I shouldn’t have expected any less though. For a man who screwed me before rejecting me, I shouldn’t have expected any less.

“Valerie…” he said, catching my attention as I was washing my hands.

“Your wounds are tended to and if you want to go to your house, you can; but you are going to need to get enough rest. Otherwise, you are going to risk…”

“You want me to leave when you were telling me that I shouldn’t get up earlier?” He asked, stopping me.

She needs to tell both parents that he cheated on her before and that is why she broke up with him. Why is this wolf pack OK and not the other packs OK to be friendly with ??? And they want her to marry a wolf !!!!! STUPID PARENTS .

This is getting more interesting as it goes. As for the invitation goes for dinner and a marriage really doesn't mean she has to say yes because it's up to her to make that decision.
