We left early this morning before she came over. I know it makes me a cowardly of me for how I did it but she made herself clear that this isn’t what she wanted. Max whimpers and whines as we get further and further away from her. But I shove him to the back of my mind. The last thing I need is him making me feel worse than I already do.
