Unexpected Arrival 2

Baylor POV

When we arrived at the packhouse oddly enough the only person in the living room was Kenneth, my best friend and Beta. Baby Marlon had fallen asleep during the walk back and for that I was thankful, but it wouldn’t be long before he would wake again and be hungry or worse; need a diaper change. When Kenneth spotted me coming through the door he got a confused look on his face. When his mouth opened to say something, I mind-linked him. ‘Go up to my room. We’ll talk there.’ He simply nodded and walked up the stairs.

When we got into the room, I laid the pup on my bed before going to sit on Mitchums bed to talk to Kenneth. “You know how Alpha Stephan was supposed to be coming to help build the temporary housing?” I asked Kenneth. “Yeah, he was just waiting for his Luna to have their pup, so they could travel,” he replied casually. “Well Stephan isn’t coming and that is his pup.” I said pointing to where Marlon was laying on my bed. “What are you gonna do Bay?” Kenneth asked.
