Stephanie’s Perspective:

Sitting up, I feel wonderful! Although Brock attempts to gently push my head back onto the pillow, I resist.

"Brock!" I said, placing my hands softly on either side of his face. "I was so worried about you!"

Brock gave me a stern look. "Stephanie, what happened earlier? Tell me about the mission and how you ended up in the pack hospital."

I begin to explain the night's events with some reluctance, from battling a ghoulish giant that resembled death itself to winding up in premature labor.
