The phone vibrated again in my hand. I stared at the screen, my eyes wide. The photo was clearly taken from inside this room, from an angle that made my hair stand on end.

"Gabriel, wake up."

He stirred behind me, his arm instinctively tightening.

"Hmm?"

"Look at this."

I shoved the phone towards his face. It took a second for his sleepy eyes to focus, but as soon as he realized what he was seeing, he sat up straight. The blanket covering us slipped, revealing his tense, naked body.

AUTHOR'S POVThey sat at the kitchen table, enjoying breakfast in warm togetherness. Scrambled eggs, buttered toast, and fragrant black coffee. Sera sat on Gabriel's lap, occasionally feeding him with her fork, and Gabriel responded with kisses on her forehead."We should do this more often," Sera said, resting her head on Gabriel's chest."Do what? Breakfast?" Gabriel joked."No. This. Being like this together without interruptions.""We will. Every morning, if possible.""You know you can't. You're the Alpha, and there are so many responsibilities.""Those responsibilities will never be more important than you. I learned that the hard way."Sera smiled, kissing Gabriel's chin. "I know. But I also don't want you to neglect the pack. They need you.""I can do both. I will do both."Heavy footsteps were heard from the stairs. Noah appeared with messy hair, his eyes still groggy, and his pajama shirt wrinkled. He yawned widely, then stopped at the kitchen doorway, staring at his parents

  • Alpha Daddy, My Se(X)cret Desire   Chapter 137

AUTHOR'S POVThat night, after the dinner banquet was over and all the guests had gone home, the house on the edge of the forest fell silent again. The children were asleep in their rooms. Noah with a book still open on his chest, Lucas and Ethan wrestling in their sleep like usual. The large house was only lit by dim lamps and the dying fire in the fireplace.Gabriel stood in the living room, loosening his tie with a weary motion. The day had been long. The inauguration, the meeting with the elders, the exhausting dinner banquet. But there was satisfaction in his chest, a warm pride that everything had finally gone well.He stared at the crackling fire, his mind drifting to the past. Thirteen years ago, he stood in the same place. No, in a different house, in a different country, and decided to leave. Leaving everything behind. Leaving Sera. Leaving Noah, who was still a baby. He thought it was the right decision, the only way to protect them. But now, looking back, he realized how f

  • Alpha Daddy, My Se(X)cret Desire   Chapter 136

AUTHOR'S POVAfter the ceremony, the event continued with a dinner banquet. The guests mingled, getting to know each other, and celebrating the pack's revival under new leadership. Gabriel walked around the room, greeting every guest with a friendly smile."Alpha Gabriel! Congratulations!" an elderly wolf approached, extending his hand. "We're all so glad to see you back. This pack needed you badly.""Thank you. I'll do my best for this pack," Gabriel said."We have no doubt about that. And your family, they're incredible. Your wife is beautiful, and your sons are handsome and intelligent. You're a lucky man."Gabriel smiled, looking at Sera who was talking with some of the pack members' wives. "I know. And I'm very lucky."In another corner of the room, Noah, Lucas, and Ethan were surrounded by young wolves. They asked about Noah's adventure, about Australia, about how he found his father. Noah told them all enthusiastically, while Lucas and Ethan occasionally added funny comments."

  • Alpha Daddy, My Se(X)cret Desire   Chapter 135

The smile that had been lost for thirteen years had now returned, brighter than ever. But there was one thing still hanging in the air. Something Gabriel never talked about, but everyone knew it was there. The pack needed an Alpha.Since Marcus's death, the leadership vacuum had created instability. She saw it in Gabriel's eyes every night, when her husband sa

  • Alpha Daddy, My Se(X)cret Desire   Chapter 134

AUTHOR'S POVThe pack hospital in Seattle felt more alive that morning. Sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating the clean white hallways. The smell of antiseptic mixed with the scent of pine trees from the forest outside. Birds chirped, as if joining in the celebration of the miracle that had happened the night before.Gabriel hadn't slept. He sat in the chair beside Noah's bed all night, his hand still gripping his son's weak fingers. He stared at Noah's face, which was beginning to flush, a sign that blood was flowing well, a sign that his son was fighting. And when dawn broke, Noah opened his eyes."Dad?"Gabriel startled. Noah's eyes were still groggy, but he smiled. The same smile as when he was little. The smile that always melted Gabriel's heart."I'm here," Gabriel whispered, brushing Noah's hair."Are you okay?"Gabriel laughed. Crying and laughing at the same time. "I should be asking you that.""I'm fine. But I saw Marcus die.""Yes. He's dead."Noah nodde

  • Alpha Daddy, My Se(X)cret Desire   Chapter 133

AUTHOR'S POVThe pack hospital was on the outskirts of Seattle, hidden behind thick pine trees. A white building with large windows facing the forest. A place where werewolves were treated, where wounds that couldn't be healed by human medicine were treated with ancient methods.Gabriel ran inside, carrying Noah who was still unconscious. Nurses rushed over, helping lay Noah on a stretcher, taking him to the operating room. Gabriel wanted to follow, but his hand was stopped."Wait here, sir. We'll do our best.""I need to...""Wait."Gabriel had no choice. He collapsed into a chair in the hallway, his head down, his hands trembling. Blood was still flowing from his wounds, but he felt nothing. All he felt was fear. Fear that his son wouldn't survive. Fear that he would lose Noah before he ever got to know him.Lilith arrived ten minutes later. She ran in, her face pale."What happened?""Noah came. He tried to help me, but Marcus..."He couldn't finish his sentence.Lilith sat beside

I did not know how I was still able to walk toward the elevator. My legs felt as if they were not touching the floor, my chest tight. My mind was filled with the image of David leaving with a pale face, and Gabriel’s sharp gaze like a blade. The elevator chimed and the doors opened. We stepped insi

Just as I feared, the worry that had been eating at my mind since morning finally came true. I had just stepped out of the taxi in front of Gabriel’s apartment building when I saw a figure I knew very well standing awkwardly in the lobby. Neatly combed brown hair, a backpack slung on one shoulder,

I still held his tie, locking myself in the dark gaze of his eyes. The word "good" from him hung in the hissing air between us, in the narrow space left before our lips truly touched. He did not close that distance. He let it remain open. My breath hitched, my chest felt tight from a mix of smolder

The ride back to Gabriel's apartment was thick with silence. It wasn't a comfortable silence, but one vibrating with what had transpired in the office and the weight of the performance we were to put on tomorrow. I sat beside him, my fingers unconsciously stroking the silk scarf around my neck, fee
