Dalton’s point of view: Why do I care? Dalton’s point of view: When I reached the pack house, the living room and dining area were filled with pack members. I breathed in deeply, trying to pull the calm around me into my lungs, my heart but it did nothing to quell the seething unsettling emotion within me. Cassandra’s point of view: He was hiding something. There must be something troubling him and it was about Levi and his associates. His hostility, whenever a member from the Moon Howlers would come, wasn’t hard to notice. It was so intense that every pack member would squirm in discomfort. Cassandra’s point of view: After spending the whole night thinking about the conversation I’d had with Dalton back in the forest, I was feeling so worn out that the first thing I did after I was done babysitting Millie for the day, was to throw myself in bed.
