Damon's POV

“Fuck! I knew it.” I yelled as I held Emily down.

“How did you get here?” I asked her.

“I drove.” She replied.

“How did that happen? When did you get your car?” I knew I gave clear instructions to my sheriff.

“...Lucas’ car.” She completed.

“Why would you be driving his car? Did Uber stop working?” I bellowed.

“Please don't speak to me that way.” She said, yanking her hand out of mine.

“My tone might not be all that, but you know I'm damn right.” I retorted. “How about you stop leaping from and to man and stay where you belong?”

“There it is!” She laughed manically. “Less than ten minutes ago, in this same room, you said the opposite of what you're saying now. I hate you, Damon.” Emily started tearing up. And to hide it, she went to the windows, which was a dumb decision seeing as we were under attack by whoever.
