Freda’s POV

On my way to my hijacked date, I tried convincing myself a million times to turn back, but the closer the uber guy got, to Central Station, the harder it was for me to be rational.

Not at the thought of seeing that fine shyte again, no. I couldn't think straight.

“Are you sure you'll be fine out here, alone, Miss?” The Uber guy asked when we got to Central Station

“I think so, I shouldn't be out on my own for too long.” I said.

“Did you come here for someone?” He asked, as I tried to transfer his fee.

“Yes.” I replied, shameful about what other details I'd have to give.

“I think you should stay in there instead.” He pointed towards a bar.

Crazy as it sounds, I'd never been in a bar alone all my life.

“This place is a hot spot for many things I do not think you would like.” He smiled

He was beginning to scare me. Matter of fact, my insecurities had tripled.
