I know that everyone is going to be having so many questions right now. Feel free to ask them, next chapter would be Eva's POV, as I think that some might ask for her chapter to know she is. So, shall we go on?
Eva: “I will find her for you, mama, and we will unite as a family; but I want you to promise me that you will be patient, okay?” I heard Leonardo say, and I shook my head before I drove off. The man was stupid enough to believe that the eye that he had was the real one. Hell, I was surprised that his own idiot of a father thought that he was worthy of it; but then again, if an idiot like him believed that Giovanni wouldn’t kill him the second he got the compass, then what else was I going to expect? I drove toward Dante’s house, shaking my head at the fact that Leonardo was stupid enough to not only kill his mate, but his heir, the Eye’s Heir, and though I knew that I most likely wouldn’t be able to save the child; saving the woman would spare him the sin which would lead to his death. The man deserved to watch the man he served die first before he was killed by the man he betrayed. I watched from a distance, and my heart raced as my wolf grew anxious at the scent of my mate being
Aurora:I smiled at my son, running my finger through his hair as he lay on my chest. He cried, or more specifically, whimpered, in my arms, letting me know that he was hungry and wanted to be fed, and smiling, I brought him to my breast, allowing him to drink the milk he wanted and needed. My little one sucked on the milk as if his life depended on it, making me laugh as a few tears fell from my eyes. And it wasn’t until the bedroom door was knocked that I snapped out of my daze. My mate’s scent filled my nostrils, and despite the joy of being a mother, I couldn’t help but worry about him. I cleared my throat before taking a deep breath, not sure what to expect from him as a reaction. I covered my baby’s head, and my breast with a blanket as he drank his milk before calling “come in” Dante opened the door, and looking at me, he froze by the door for a second before he walked inside and closed the door, locking it. His hands shook as he clenched his fists, making my heart race. I
Dante: I stayed still for a few seconds, studying Eva’s expression before nodding in agreement. “That is the goal anyway, with or without your help, my goal was to always kill those associated with Giovanni. Leonardo and Gabriella weren’t on that list, but it seems like they are now” I said, shrugging my shoulders. Eva simply nodded before she smiled at my mate who ran her finger over our baby’s arm as he lay in her arms “have you decided on a name for the little one?” I looked at Aurora who nodded, the two of us having already chosen a boy’s name. I looked at Nicolas, the one man who I never thought that I would end up trusting with my life, before smiling. “Nico Sandro D’Angelo” I said, looking at both Nicolas and Alessandro who froze, processing the names “Nico as his first name, following his uncle, having his nobility, kind heart, and genuine soul. And Sandro for his grandfather, the man who despite everything, stood strong for what he believed in, keeping his gentle, and sw
Nicolas: I watched as Eva sat out on the veranda, looking at the city. “You know that I am aware of you watching me, right?” She asked, not turning to face me. “I am aware” I said, walking out and closing the door behind me. She looked at me, and raised an eyebrow before turning to the view “what are you doing here? I believe that you could easily destroy them all yourself if you want, so, what are you doing here?” “I don’t think that you’re too happy seeing that I am here, or is it because I am related to Mattia that you’re annoyed?” She asked, shooting back at me. I shook my head at the woman, pinching the bridge of my nose before turning her around, forcing her to look at me. My whole body felt like it was on fire. The mating bond caused my body to react, and judging by her freezing, I knew that she felt the same bond. “I am the son of Giovanni; therefore, if I was going to be judging you for who your father is, then you would have to be judging me because of who mine is” I s
Aurora:I smiled when I opened my eyes to find Dante asleep. His head lay on my stomach as his steady breathing told me that he was fast asleep.I gently moved him to the side, making sure not to wake him, not that I would be able to at this point. He was too exhausted to open his eyes, and judging by the fact that I was his mate, his wolf wouldn’t be as anxious or worried about anyone hurting him.I got up from bed and walked toward our son who was fast asleep. His heartbeat was calm, and smiling, I lifted him in my arms, careful not to stir Dante, knowing that he needed to rest. He was already in too much pain, and needless to say, everything that happened weighed down on him like a brick on his back; however, I knew that I would be standing strong by his side. I wasn’t going to leave him when he was at his weakest.I sat on the edge of the bed, and lowering my shirt, I put my son in front of my breast, and as if on instinct, which I believed was a reality, he wrapped his small lip
Eva: I smiled when I saw that we finally managed to fix up the baby’s crib. “Fucking hell” Dante said, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at the thing. His eyes held the pain of the world, but he was holding strong, making sure not to break in front of anyone. “I swear, for a baby’s crib, this thing took two hours to fix up” Nicolas said, running his fingers through his hair. “Oh, stop complaining” I said, getting up from the floor. The girls and I have been fixing the changing table while the men took charge of the crib and baby’s closet. “Yes, coming from the woman who simply built the changing table, I am surprised you’re complaining” “Excuse you, do you realize how many drawers and screws this thing has? And needless to say, the baby shower that is attached to it” I said, glaring at him. He let out a low growl, and wrapping an arm around me, Aurora pulled me toward the couch, whereas Dante wrapped his arm around his brother, shaking his head as he grew amused. “Y
Dante: “Is she okay?” Aurora asked, wrapping her arms around herself as she saw me entering the room. She was standing over our son’s crib as he slept when I first walked in, and smiling, I looked at the beautiful thing that we spent hours fixing up. I hugged my beauty and kissed the crown of her head, nodding in response, my heart aching after what I saw more than I could dare let out. Now, if I ever wanted to kill the bastards before, then now I wanted to torment them, nice and slow, before ending their lives. Seeing a woman break like that in front of me was not something that I took lightly, especially since I could tell that she was putting on a strong act to keep her pain inside. It was an act that I knew too well. I saw my mother play it for years so as not to collapse in front of Elena and I. “She is inside with Nicolas right now” I said, pulling away to look my beauty in the eye “I don’t know what happened exactly, but I think that Giovanni and Mattia killed her baby” “W
Angelina: I smiled when Alessandro wrapped his arms around me from the back, hugging me as I looked out the window. His lips touched my shoulder as he kissed me gently. His kisses seemed to remind me that I was alive. Something that Giovanni fought to make me forget. I turned around to face him, and wrapping my arms around his neck, I pulled him down to kiss my lips. The man smiled into the kiss, and biting my bottom lip, he pulled on it gently before resting his forehead against my own. “How are you feeling?” He asked me, his voice gentle. I could have sworn before I met him, personally I mean, that no man was ever as gentle toward a woman. Hell, had it not been for me teaching my son to treat women right, I would have thought that all men were crap towards their women. However, Alessandro, despite his hard demeanor, and despite how powerful he was, he was the most gentle person a woman could want to be with. The way he touched me, hugged me, and even spoke to me made my heart mel
