I watched as Aurora entered the office an hour and a half later, putting a file on my desk and a hard drive on my desk.

She chose to leave my office while working to work with one of the employees to get things done and if I were being honest, when I set the deadline for her, I didn’t expect her to get things done as fast. I had to admit, I could see how efficient she worked, and as much as it annoyed me, I understood why Giovanni chose to work with her in specific.

“These are the things that you asked for. The financial team brought over your statements, and this has the presentations that you wanted” she said, not sparing me a second glance. I looked at the things for a second before nodding in approval “is there anything else that you need, Mr. D’Angelo?”
