So, we know that Nicolas, aka, Tyler, is not her brother, haha. But what did you think of this? What do you think Dante would do? Ps. Today is a one chapter day, I know that the cliffhanger wasn't very nice, but you know, it's a Friday Night guys...;( I promise to make it up to you tomorrow though. Now, don't forget to vote, comment, and leave a review. Of course, I want to read your comments about the chapter too. Bye, bye.
Nicolas: I watched as Aurora and Dante walked out of the café before shaking my head, letting out a low chuckle. The man was too full of himself for his own good, and unfortunately, he was too blind to see it. They both were. “Take care of things here, I’m leaving” I said, looking at the bartender who nodded. The man was my employee, and he was one of the only people who knew who I really was. I took off my apron and fixed my hair just as I was walking out of the café, and headed to my car. My phone rang just as I started the car, and answering the phone, I chuckled when I saw his caller ID. “What do you want?” I asked, my tone hardening the second I heard him breathing on the line. “I take it that the plan didn’t work” he said, cutting to the point, ignoring my question. It was typical of him to do so; therefore, I was not surprised. “No, there was a minor change in it as your son decided to show up” I said, driving toward my house. I made sure to pass by Aurora’s place to ch
Aurora: “May I ask where we are going? As this does not seem like my house’s direction, nor is it yours” I said, looking at Dante who sighed and extended his hand to me. I put my hand on his, intertwining our fingers, and running my fingers over his own, he smiled at me. “I want to make things real between us, Aurora” Dante said, taking me off guard. I looked at him and he ran his finger over my own; however, he didn’t turn to look at me “I want to take you to meet my mom and sister. I know that this is sudden, but I want us to get out of the zone of not trusting one another…” “You want to meet your family?” I asked, my cheeks heating as I blushed. “Yes, I want us to be more than just this…” Dante said, making me frown in confusion “if you want, I want us to be real” “What?” “In other words, I want you as my mate…” “Dante…” “I know that this may not be what you want right now, but at least trusting you with meeting my family can be a start. It would be to show you that I trus
Dante: “How did you know that Giovanni was at his house?” Aurora asked, frowning as she looked at the picture “I mean, how’d you guess…?” “Ian and Jeremiah, my men, are there on the lookout, reporting to anything that seems odd. When they saw the car driving in, they called me, and I asked them to take a picture for you to see” I said, looking at her, studying her expression, noticing her racing heartbeat “I had them based there for a while now, especially when he started getting too close to you” “I don’t know whether or not to be happy that you had your men following him, but either way, why would he be hiding who he is around me? What would he be benefitting?” Aurora asked, her tone turning oddly cold. Her eyes which were filled with life a few hours ago seemed to completely lose the light that they had in them. “Nicolas told me that he was going to have you falling for him, and that he would make you forget that I even existed” I said, telling her what happened at the party. A
Aurora: I sat out on Dante's veranda, needing some fresh air. Having excused myself from dinner, I have been sitting here for the past hour, trying to clear my mind, and I was more than thankful that Dante allowed me the privacy to try and digest everything that I heard. My heart throbbed, and I couldn’t help the tears that would escape my eyes every few minutes. It wasn’t like there was anything more than a normal friendship between Tyler, Nicolas, whatever that bastard’s name was, and I. But the idea of him lying to me like almost everyone else broke me. The fact that he’s been playing a dirty game on me, pretending to be someone he was not hurt me a lot, especially since I knew that doing so only meant that the person in front of you meant nothing. I used to do it to get the men killed after I was done with my duty; therefore, if he was doing it, then I knew the fate that he planned on me. The thing was, knowing that I truly did consider him to be my friend, unlike any of the
Dante: I connected my lips with Aurora’s in a gentle, loving kiss. One that had her wolf giving in almost immediately. Her arms wrapped around my neck, pulling me closer, and running my fingers through her hair, I deepened the kiss and biting her bottom lip, I pulled on it gently. Aurora opened her mouth, giving in to me, and I pushed my tongue inside her mouth, exploring it, battling her tongue for a few seconds. I pulled away to allow the two of us to breathe, and resting my forehead against Aurora’s, our chests rose and fell as we tried catching our breaths. “Tell me to stop, Aurora, and I will without hesitation” I whispered to her, lowering my hand to her cheek, touching it gently. “You won’t leave me in the end, would you?” Aurora asked, breaking my heart. I knew that the number of things that she learned in a very short span of time broke her, but I also knew that it was better that she heard them from me than from a stranger. “Unless you want me to, Aurora, I am not g
Aurora:I woke up to Dante running his finger on my bare back, drawing random circles and patterns on it.I had no idea when I dozed off, but I knew that it wasn’t long ago as Dante was still laying on the bed with me, naked, as our skins touched. The mark on his neck was bruised and I knew that mine was too, however, I didn’t mind at all. Not one bit actually.“Hi” I said, raising myself to look at him. He smiled, and looking down at me, he pulled me closer to kiss me. His kiss was gentle, loving even, and cupping my cheek, he ran his finger over my jaw gently before pulling away.“Hey” he said, making me smile “how are you feeling?”“A bit sore, my neck is definitely sore, but I wouldn’t change that for anything” I said, truly meaning it. His gentleness always seems to surprise me, especially since I knew that being an Alpha and being bigger and heavier than I was, he could easily crush me; however, he always seemed to treat me like a jewel that he didn’t want to scratch. He touched
Dante:“Dante, for the millionth time, where are you taking me?” Aurora asked, trying to remove my hands from her eyes. I chuckled and kissed her neck, stopping her from doing so. “Patience, neonata. I didn’t know you as impatient, but either way, we’re almost there” I said, shaking my head at her. The two of us were walking through the pack’s grounds, and I wanted to take her to a stream that I thought she’d like. The surrounding was filled with flowers, and different small animals that we sometimes tended to chase when we’ve shifted. We’d never really kill them, but I knew for fact that we scared the little things.“I am not one for surprises”“I noticed, but you’ll have to get used to them”“Dante D’Angelo…”“Yes, neonata?” I teased, acting innocent. The sun had already set a while ago, but the fireflies would be out shortly, and this was one of the main reasons why I chose to bring her here at night. That, and the fact that she was asleep throughout most of the morning, trying to
Giovanni: “We’re yet to manage tracing her, but I asked at work and they’re in Spain for a business meeting” Nicolas said, entering the office. I chuckled and shook my head at his ignorance. I knew for fact that they weren’t there, Aurora wouldn’t have deactivated her phone if she was. “I don’t care what you have to do, Nicolas, I want to know where the fuck she is. If she is with Dante, then I want to know where they are going with that fucking pendant” I said, glaring at him. He raised an amused eyebrow at me, and shook his head at my behavior. The man really didn’t know who he was challenging or trying to fuck with, did he? “I believe that your mating son gave it to you? At least, that’s what you told me?” “The pendant he gave is not the real one” I said, getting up from the chair that I was sitting on. I was at his house. The house where we kept HIM, and now it was time to pay the man a little visit. Maybe this time, he would break loose when he knows that his daughter could e
