Aurora:

I woke up to the smell of flowers.

Opening my eyes, I frowned in confusion when I saw Dante walking into the bedroom with a bouquet of white and pink flowers in his hand. I sat up, and hesitating, Dante placed them on the bedside table beside me.

His eyes avoided mine and cocking my head to the side, I studied his expression for a second to frown “you haven’t slept, have you?”

“No” he said, and shaking my head, I extended my arms for him and pulled him to my chest. He stayed completely still as he held on the bouquet, and running my fingers through his hair, I felt his tense muscles relax for a second “I’m sorry, Aurora”

His voice was broken, and I could feel his wolf’s pain and anger. I stayed quiet, waiting for what he had to say.
