44. A normal day

I refused to answer any of his questions and when he told me I would be punished for refusing to obey, I just shrug my shoulders because I knew that my silence was getting under his skin.

He marched me all the way to our bedroom and told me that if I wasn’t talking I could stay here until I was ready to talk. He turns and walks away, not even glancing back and pulls the door tightly shut. A few moments later it was followed by the turn of the lock. The asshole had locked me in.

Fine, if he wanted to play it that way, then I would figure out a way to escape. I checked the windows but they were all locked too although there was one that he had forgotten about, the bathroom window. It was small but then so was I and I reckon I could just about fit.

Climbing up onto the basin, I push the window, which just about opened all the way without swinging back on me, it was a long drop down, but anything had to be better than staying here. Carefully manoeuvring myself
