51. Lies
I wait for ten minutes before leaving the room, I needed to make sure he was busy in the shower. I was grateful that he was respecting me for saying no but i just didnt feel safe around him anymore and I couldn't put my finger on why.
Grabbing my coat, I slip out the room, listening and smelling for anyone around but thankfully there was no one. I make towards the front door only for Christian to ask me where I was going. When I turn to face him, he takes one look at my tear stained face and rushes towards me, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me against his sweat soaked body.
“Ash, what happened?”
I shake my head, I couldn't explain it even if I tried. I need to be alone, just me and Reaper
“Reaper?”
“My monster” I could barely get the words out “I don’t, I cant stay here with him”

As we crash to the floor, my head smashes against the edge of the fridge with a loud thud, what did Christian say? I don’t see Daryl for the rest of the day and I was grateful, instead I was spending the afternoon mulling over Christians words and wondering if he had felt the sparks between us like I had.
