Arianna: My chest ached as I lay on the bed that I was on. The man, Nikolai, has been by my side since the incident. Dean:I knocked on the infirmary door before opening it. I walked inside and watched as Nikolai stood up to look at me. He nodded at Arianna who was asleep, her heart calm and her stance somewhat relaxed. “How is she?” I asked, my voice above a whisper. “She is okay, we had them giving her painkillers to rest. Arianna: I opened my eyes to find myself alone in the room. My heart raced against my ribcage and my wolf perked up at the scent of my mate being somewhat close. And I couldn’t help but feel somewhat thankful for the fact that she chose to listen to the doctor about telling her to stay in bed. I knew that she could have been stubborn enough to get out of bed because she wanted to.
