Arianna:

“This is the last of it.” Irina said, showing me the arena where people were combat training.

“Irina, how are you?” A woman asked, smiling at her and Irina smiled.

“I am well, Victoria, and how are you?” She asked, looking at the woman. I could tell that she was trying to stand as if she owned the world, especially considering the fact that the pack member seemed to address her personally. It was something that I could tell about the woman. She wanted to be the center of attention.

“We are all fine.” She said before looking at me. “We caught your scent yesterday with the Alpha, but neither one of us had the chance to get to know you.”

“Arianna,” Irina said, stopping me. Victoria looked at me for a second, frowning at the disrespectful manner and I smiled, extending my hand to the woman.

“Arianna, Alpha Dean’s mate.” I said, and the woman’s eyes widened in surprise before she looked down at her feet, avoiding my eyes. She quickly shook my hand and I couldn’t help but smil
