LOGINVAELORA stared at Draekon in both shock and confusion. What was happening? "DragonBorns?" "Yes." He replied. "It has become even clearer that the DragonBorns have a plan, but unfortunately, I don't have an idea what it is. That is why I want to use Nysera's presence here to my advantage. She doesn't know it, but she has been taken hostage now." "Draekon." Vaelora stepped down the bed now, pacing the length of the room, deep in thoughts. "Aside the disgusting incident between us the following day, did any other..." She trailed off, looking for the right word. "Did any other significant thing happen afterward?" "Judging from my three weeks of partial limbo, trapped in my beast form, I was unaware. But after I returned, Tobias or Ambrose didn't report any significant cases." Vaelora remained silent, looking into space as she delved into thoughts. She felt very troubled within. It was as though her witch instincts were poking her. Just then, a deep grumble was heard th
VAELORA woke up, her eyes gradually focusing on the ceiling above her. She dragged in some air, before exhaling. Her mind was still a bit disoriented, which was understandable for someone just waking up. But somehow, her heart danced. She knew that if she turned, she was going to meet the face of the one man who meant everything to her in this realm. And of course, she did. She turned to meet Draekon's eyes on her. He was woken up half an hour before she did, and had just remained in bed, watching her sleep. After the funny scene with Rebekah at his study, they had both returned to Vaelora's new chambers to rest some more. It was a silent understanding that neither of them were really ready to return to their shared chambers, knowing what had happened there. "Veylooorrr...." Vaelora drawled, a small smile on her face, her eyes twinkling with pure love. "Your Majesty." Draekon teased in response, sliding closer to her underneath the sheets. "Did you sleep well?" "H
WHEN DRAEKON ceased to feel Vaelora's fingers moving through his hair, he knew she had most certainly fallen asleep. Gently getting off of her, he stood to his feet and quickly threw on his braies and trousers. He crouched low and carefully pulled down her robe to cover her thighs. While at that, she steered a bit and her eyes fluttered open. She looked very tired. She was probably scouting through her sleepy brain for something to say, when Draekon effortlessly whisked her into his arms and headed for the perimeters. On getting to the perimeters, the sentinels could only manage awkward bows as Draekon walked past them with Vaelora asleep in his arms. Asides hearing all the sinful sounds their Alpha and Luna had been quite busy making from within the hunting grounds, they could smell the sex as Draekon passed. "Must be nice." One of the sentinels whispered after Draekon had walked a distance, and the others sighed. It was a cold night, and the heat that had crept up their
DRAEKON felt his entire body go hot. His lower body seemed a bit too excited, and it scared him. He could feel Vaelora's finger pull against his hair, and it made him lose more control. They both moaned into the kiss like they had been waiting for this opportunity the whole time. But more than anything, he wanted to talk to her right then. He wanted her to give him a good excuse as to why she hurt him so badly. A good excuse that would ensure he didn't lose her. He COULDN'T lose her. He wouldn't be able to bear it. Not after reminding himself of what her lips tasted like. He slowed down on the kiss, wanting to pull away, but Vaelora's hand wandered down his body and rested on his crotch. Draekon was already so hard, and... Cursed claws! She was going to be his undoing. "Please..." She whispered in tears, needing him so badly. She had gone weeks... No. A whole month without him! She couldn't bear it anymore. Not anymore. She
DRAEKON and Ambrose had arrived the Royal House very late that night. It was probably midnight already. As their horses trotted in, Draekon looked over the expanse of the royal estates, and he could swear he saw a very familiar figure walking towards the perimeters of the hunting grounds. Swiftly, he jumped off his horse and Ambrose did same. The sentinels quickly collected the reins of their horses and led them toward the stables. Ambrose started heading toward the foyer, but frowned when he noticed Draekon going the opposite way. "Where are you going?" Ambrose asked in confusion. "Somewhere." Draekon muttered, his face contouring in what seemed like annoyance. Ambrose watched silently as Draekon headed down the royal estates and after a while, he released a tired sigh and headed in, quite eager to be in the arms of his mate. While they had finished up with their investigations the same day they left for Chief Doughan's, Draek
DRAEKON sat alone at the balcony of the Chief Doughan's residence. He and Ambrose had been there for the past two days, after concluding the final part of their investigations regarding the night Chief Doughan's residence was attacked. Apparently, that wasn't the only thing that occured that night. The Chief's residence was the closest to the border, and majority of the sentinels stationed at the border had rushed over there to help during the attack. The few others who had remained to stand guard at the border however, were all... killed. Shockingly. All, except one of the sentinels who was noted to still have a pulse while the bodies were being evacuated. Darren. Draekon found it fishy that the remaining sentinels at the border were killed, when the attack had been at Chief Doughan's residence, and not the border. He had been planning to look deeper into the case, but then returned home to meet the situation with Vaelora and Dione, and wen
SHE OPENED her eyes slowly, her head still heavy from sleep. She gave in to the habit that had quickly turned into a morning ritual over the months, turning to her side to check for Draekon. She was met with an empty space. For a long moment, she just stared at the empty spot, unable to tell
The moment he slid inside her, she released a sharp cry, blood rushing to her face. It was pain. But a different kind. "Are you okay?" He whispered against her lips, trying not to move within her just yet. "Hmm..." She gave a muffled response, nodding as she grabbed his arms tightly. She
"She needs the Veylor." Rebekah muttered. "No...." Vaelora gasped, struggling against the sheets. "I'm sorry, Lora." Rebekah sighed. "But whatever pain you're feeling now, is just a tiny fragment of what is to come. We haven't even gone halfway through the night. You need your mate." "Nooo.
“Please, Draekon.... Just take me.” Vaelora begged. "I can't." "Then leave!! Get out!!" She crashed out, a mix of anger and frustration in her voice. Her emotions were fueled by the desperation that the heat stirred within her. In that moment, Draekon deliberated between walking out of thei
