VAELORA woke up, her eyes gradually focusing on the ceiling above her. She dragged in some air, before exhaling. Her mind was still a bit disoriented, which was understandable for someone just waking up. But somehow, her heart danced. She knew that if she turned, she was going to meet the face of the one man who meant everything to her in this realm. And of course, she did. She turned to meet Draekon's eyes on her. WHEN DRAEKON ceased to feel Vaelora's fingers moving through his hair, he knew she had most certainly fallen asleep. Gently getting off of her, he stood to his feet and quickly threw on his braies and trousers. He crouched low and carefully pulled down her robe to cover her thighs. He and Ambrose had been there for the past two days, after concluding the final part of their investigations regarding the night Chief Doughan's residence was attacked.
