"Tom and Greta, I need to speak to them." She whispered before passing out. Her body was covered in sweat as it gave in to the exhaustion. Most wolves passed out and slept for days after a shift. Yet, she was awake and moving around after her first shift. She was strong and resilient. She wasn't afraid to show her emotions throughout the changes. Due to her magical abilities, she shifted faster than most did too. It would normally take a day or two to switch from one form back to another completely. But, she did it in a matter of hours. She had been in here for a day and had completed both shifts. I picked her up and carried her back to her room. Placing her on the bed, I grabbed one of my shirts and slipped it over her head. Chapter 23 - Blood The hike up Rubrum mountains was long and treacherous. Even in our wolf form, we felt the exhaustion set in. What started as a wide, steep trail became ridged and narrow. The air thinned the higher we climbed, and the wind became harsher as it whistled past us.
