Alessia’s POV

Everything was ready for the ceremony. The setup was made. Packs were invited. Elders were the ones who set the date. The Council however was not pleased with this decision. They did not want Ezekiel and I to be together.

As Ezekiel gave the counter attack saying that a contract is in equation and no one can go back to the words once signed. So, they reluctantly agreed. I have a feeling that they will try to create problems between us.

“You look beautiful” I looked up to find Em entering the room. Coming behind me, she placed her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her through the mirror. She is wearing a peach color gown with a heart shape neckline.

“See, I got you something” she presented me a pearl and cubic zirconia earring along with the pendant.

“It’s beautiful” I murmured.

“Ezekiel asked me to bring it to you as he could not come and meet you” she informed me.
