HARIA'S POV
As Kate and I walked away, we still heard my brother's loud voice.
"What's going on here?" His voice was too authoritative. It's a good thing he didn't see me and Kate there because for sure, I'll receive nonstop sermons from him and he'll even embarrass me in front of the crowd.
Although I still want to confront the man who wants to score with me, it's better that we leave. But why do I seem to be more annoyed with the man who helped us than the man who harassed us? I don't know, I don't understand myself either. Maybe because of the embarrassing moment that happened to us inside the comfort room when our paths crossed in the city. Yes, I suddenly felt ashamed of myself when I found out that that man was also a member of the Blue Blood Pack. And that's not all, because it looks like I will often see him here at the camp if Dad's plan to register me in the training goes through.
"Wait a minute, Kate," I said a little breathlessly as I got out of Kate's grip and stopped walking when I estimated that we were already far away from the place where the trouble happened. "Let's rest for now. It looks like we've gotten away from them."
"It's a good thing that your older brother didn't see us," Kate said as she also stopped walking and sat on the big rock that was there.
"Who are those guys? Do you know them?" I asked with annoyance in my voice, although I wasn't sure if Kate would be able to answer me either.
"I don't know either, cousin. But based on what I've heard, the name of the man who harassed us is Marky and the one who helped us is Jacob," Kate answered after thinking for a bit as if not sure of his answer. "And based on my observation earlier while they were arguing, it looks like they are trainees to be soldiers of the Blue Blood Pack."
"It was so annoying! My mood is already ruined, then those guys ruined it even more."
"Wait, cousin. Why do you seem so angry with the man who helped us? Don't you realize that if it wasn't for him, that Marky would have completely harassed us?"
"What are you talking about? Don't you realize that they just did an act? They just planned it to get my attention," I insisted. I don't want her to know that one of the reasons why I'm upset with Jacob is because of what happened to us inside the comfort room.
"What if you're thinking wrong? That Jacob is really a good guy and helping others is really in his heart?"
"Tell me, Kate. Whose side are you on?" I faced Kate with a hint of annoyance in my voice. "It's like you believe him more than me."
"It's not like that, cousin. I got your point, but I'm still not ruling out the possibility that Jacob is really kind and genuinely helping us. And that Marky is really the bad guy."
"Whatever. Just look for someone to talk to if you will insist that on me," I said annoyingly as I continued walking and left her. And she quickly followed me and even held my hand.
"Wait, cousin," she said hurriedly after she grabbed one of my hands.
"What? Let me go!" I immediately removed her hand as I stopped walking. "Just go with those fools. After all, they're the ones you believe in."
"I believe you, cousin. I'm not just taking away the..." I didn't let her finish what she was saying and speak immediately.
"Don't go on with what you want to say, Kate. We will surely argue with that. The style of those guys won't sell on me. What is the name of the guy who you're saying helped us?"
"As far as I remember, he was called Jacob by the other guy he got into a fight with," Kate immediately answered. "Jacob, a beta and a trainee to be a soldier of the Blue Blood Pack."
"Jacob, a beta trainee of the Blue Blood Pack. I'll remember his name well."
After saying that I continued walking and Kate immediately followed me.
"Where are we going now, cousin?" she asked as she hurriedly walked to catch up with me.
"Going into the mansion, inside my room," I answered immediately, in a voice that was still irritated. "I will only get even more annoyed if I stay here outside."
"I'll go with you. I don't want to stay here anymore either."
We had just entered the mansion when we heard my brother's loud voice. He was obviously mad and maybe, someone already told him that I was involved in the trouble that happened earlier, so he hurriedly looked for me.
"What's the problem, big bro?" I asked in a calm and seemingly innocent voice after getting near him. I tried not to let him notice that I was guilty of involvement in the trouble that happened earlier but it seems that he already knew and he is now in front of me to confront me about it.
"Damn you, Haria! You still dare to ask me what's the problem!"
"W-Why, brother? W-What did I do wrong?" I asked, as if I was surprised, although I already knew what he meant.
"Do you think I wouldn't know the trouble you just got involved with again tonight," he continued as his voice remained firm and authoritative.
"What did I do wrong, brother, for you to treat me like this? As far as I know, I'm not doing anything bad," I answered him seriously. Although I am guilty, I still don't like the way he confronted me as if I had committed a big sin.
"Are you sure? So, what the trainees reported to me was just a rumor? Even Jacob told me that you were involved in the trouble that happened earlier."
"J-Jacob?" I was stunned after hearing that familiar name from my brother. I even looked at Kate next to me, who had not been able to speak for a while and was just listening. And she just shrugged in response.
"Yes, Jacob Cabarse, one of the trainees to be a soldier of our pack," my brother answered firmly.
"Doesn't he know me to accuse me of something like that? Doesn't he know that I'm the daughter of the ruler of the Blue Blood Pack?" The annoyance that I feel for the beta guy, Jacob, for not recognizing me as the Alpha's daughter is getting stronger now. It's okay if we are in the city but here at the camp, well, I deserve some respect coming from a beta like him.
"If you think you can do whatever you want here in the camp, you are mistaken, Haria. I will never tolerate you for your bad behavior. Actually, it is better that they don't know your true identity. Because you only bring shame to our family." Those words that my brother uttered caused a strange pain inside me. It was as if something sharp pierced my heart causing me to tear up a little.
"W-Who is that Jacob Cabarse and it looks like he's the one you believe more than me, your own sister?" I shouted while trying to stop the tears from falling from my eyes.
"Jacob is one of the best trainees of our pack. That's why he's more believable than you. Yes, you are my sister, but you've never done anything right. You're just a troublemaker and always dragging our family into shame," he answered while expressing his frustrations toward me.
"Your words are quite hurtful, brother." I was completely in tears now as I was even more hurt by what my brother said.
"What Haria was saying..." Kate was not given a chance to finish what she wanted to say as she was just starting to speak, my brother immediately interrupted.
"Don't try to cover your cousin, Kate! That's why her head is getting bigger and bigger," he snapped as he turned to Kate.
"I can't believe this." I even raised my two hands because of frustration towards my older brother. "How could you do this to me? It's like I'm not your sister."
"If you want me to consider you as my sister, then, fix yourself," he said in a firm voice. Then he turned his back on me.
"Let's go, Kate! We're going to go see Jacob Cabarse and bring him to my brother to prove to him that I'm not doing anything wrong," I said angrily as I turned around and started walking out of the mansion.
"Don't do it, Haria! You will just create another trouble!"
I heard my brother's loud voice but I just ignored it and continued walking out of the mansion. Kate immediately followed me, while being very worried about what I was planning to do.
"Whatever you're planning, cousin, don't go ahead with it. Your brother will only get angrier at you."
"No, Kate. I have to bring that Jacob Cabarse to my brother to clear my name," I answered my cousin in a firm voice as I continued walking. "It's up to you if you don't want to come with me. I'm not going to force you."
It seems that Kate was really afraid that my brother would get angry at her and she didn't come with me anymore.
I need someone who knows Jacob Cabarse so I can easily get him wherever he is at this moment. So I took a mansion guard with me instead. He got a taste of my anger first when he hesitated because he didn't want to leave his assigned post.
Jacob wasn't at the party so we went to his barracks and just in time, I saw a shirtless man so I immediately approached him.
"Hey, are you the liar and impolite Jacob Cabarse?" I immediately asked when I got close to where he was. Although he had his back turned, I was sure that the man I approached was Jacob Cabarse, whom I had been so annoyed with for a while.
"Yes, I am. Why?" he answered, but he didn't turn to me and just continued with what he was doing. He's not just a liar and impolite, he is also rude.
"Hey! Don't be rude! Face me! Don't you know who I am here in the Blue Blood Pack?"
"Why? Who are you?" he's still not turning to me as he was busy washing his clothes. Maybe he doesn't care at all and rudeness is really in his nature.
"I said, face me! You bastard!" I couldn't hold back the annoyance I was feeling anymore so I stepped closer to him. I was about to pull his hair when the guard who was with me suddenly grabbed me by the shoulder.
"We have to go back, Madam. Alpha Jomer might be looking for us already," the guard said worriedly. But I just glared at him and refused to follow what he wanted. He's just a guard in the mansion and I'm the daughter of the ruler of our pack. Who does he think should be one to be followed?
"Please, Madam Haria. Alpha Jomer might fire me in this state," the guard begged with me.
"No, Guard! I'm not done talking to him!" I answered in a hard voice.
Then, I looked back at the man who was the reason why I was here and seething with anger.
"You're Jacob Cabarse, aren't you? Tell me, what have I done to you that you're spreading rumors about me?" I snorted at the impolite man.
"Rumors? What rumors?" He seemed confused and didn't understand what I meant.
"Respect her, Mr. Cabarse. She is the daughter of the ruler of our pack. She's Alpha Jerwin's daughter. And the sister of Alpha Jomer, the one next in line to the throne of being the ruler of the Blue Blood Pack," the guard suddenly spoke as he turned to Jacob.
"Y-You are Alpha Jerwin's daughter?" I could clearly see the slight surprise in his reaction because of what he heard.
"Now, you know me, Mr. Jacob Cabarse," the words I uttered were emphasized as I turned to him.
"B-But I'm not spreading any rumors against you, M-Madam," he insisted, but this time, in a calm voice. He now knows how to address me correctly.
"Really, huh? Why did you tell my brother that I was involved in the trouble that happened earlier?"
"But you were indeed..."
"You're still going to argue with me about that." I didn't let him finish talking because for sure, he will insist on what he thought was right.
"Madam, we need to go back to the mansion now. Alpha Jomer might be looking for us already," the guard interrupted as he turned his gaze to me.
"I don't care!" I shouted back at him. "What if he gets angry? I don't care!"
Then, I turned my attention back to Jacob Cabarse
"Come with me to the mansion, Mr. Cabarse, and take back what you said to my brother, that I was involved in the trouble that happened earlier."
After saying that, I immediately grabbed his arm and started dragging him toward the mansion.
"W-Wait, Madam! What are you doing?"
I just ignored what he was saying and I didn't let him get out of my grip even though he was trying.
"It's true that you were involved in the trouble that happened earlier. So why are you making such a fuss?" he continued as if he was already annoyed.
HARIA'S POV "You really don't understand me, Beta!" I shouted as my grip on him got tighter. Then, I stopped walking and slightly pushed him away. My hand left a mark on his arm because of how tightly I held him earlier. If I hadn't controlled myself, his arm might have been broken already. I know he was slightly hurt but he didn't show it to me. He really takes care of his ego too much. "You have to tell my brother that I was not involved in the trouble that happened earlier," I continued in a firm and still loud voice. He didn't answer and instead, he gave me a smile like a dog. "Looks like I understand why now," he said with sarcasm in his voice. And I was even more annoyed now by that gesture. "Will you taste punishment when Alpha Jomer finds out that you were involved in the trouble earlier? Are you perhaps, some kind of a black sheep of your family?" "Mind the words coming out of your mouth, Mr. Cabarse. You might get a broken bone if you continue to do so." I was even more
JACOB'S POV I was currently having breakfast in my barracks when suddenly, one of my friends came rushing to me. "We have to go see Carl! Marky was beating him up!" I was surprised after I heard that from Richard so I stopped eating and quickly took my T-shirt and put it on. "Where are they?" I asked worriedly. "On the basketball court." After hearing that, I hurried out of my barracks and quickly ran towards the basketball court. I don't even notice if Richard followed me or not as I am very worried about my best friend, Carl. Marky chose to mess with him again and the reason is to annoy me and force me to engage in a fight with him. Marky wants to ruin me and he will do everything to make that happen. I was already at the oval grounds when I bumped into a woman wearing a white t-shirt and jogging pants, probably one of the newbies here in the training camp. She suddenly shifted direction so I couldn't avoid her anymore. She fell to the ground and I immediately felt pity for he
HARIA'S POV I could sense that something was not right when Jacob rushed to the basketball court. He even ignored my positioning in a fighting stance. And I was right because when I decided to follow him, I witnessed that an intense fight was about to happen between two groups. I even stepped in between them to try to stop them but I ended up being stuck in the middle of the fight. But somehow, Jacob seemed to protect me and didn't let anyone's attack land on me. The fight was about to get intense when the bell suddenly rang. Reason for them to stop and Jacob and his two friends started walking out of the basketball court. My cousin also pulled me out of the court even though I still didn't want to as I wanted to confront the other guy and show him who I am here at the camp of the Blue Blood Pack. The trainees were already lining up in front of the stage where my brother and a soldier who introduced himself as General Parks were waiting. My cousin and I were about to line up alon
JACOB'S POV She's taking it so long to take the badges that I'm giving her. Perhaps, she doesn't want it. I even went through this kind of hassle as apparently, this is my peace offering to her even though I didn't do anything wrong. And of course, to impress her somehow. But everything I did seemed to be just useless. I was about to take my hand back and just accept that we will never be okay no matter what I do, when she suddenly reached for the five badges from my hand. "Thank you because I really need these badges," she said. "My father and my brother don't want to give me a break. So I'm going to use it to somehow have a rest." "If you want to..." I couldn't finish what I was going to say when she turned around and immediately walked away from us, out of the woods. I just shook my head as I followed her with just my sight. Then, I felt Carl's hand landed on my shoulder. "Don't worry, man. Whatever you're thinking right now, I've got your back." There was teasing in Carl's v
JACOB'S POV Haria could hardly stop laughing out loud as she ran away from me. "Come back here, Alpha Haria! Look what you did to me," I said loudly. Then, I took off my T-shirt and I decided to play along with her. "Chase me," she's challenging me as she continued running away from me. "If you can." "Are you challenging me?" I answered as I started chasing her. "I can chase you no matter how far you are from me." She sped up running when she saw me chasing her. But I also ran faster. I really want to catch her so I can get revenge for what she did to me. After a while, I caught up with her but she still got away from me. But I was able to grab her shirt, so in the end, I still caught her. And this time, I already locked her in my arms to make sure she wouldn't be able to escape anymore. "What were you talking about earlier, huh?" I carried her into waist-deep water. "You challenged me earlier, didn't you? This is my revenge now." "No! No! No! Don't do it, Jacob!" She was tryin
JACOB'S POV "How about you? What does it mean when you immediately respond to my kisses?" I answered, but it was also a question. As much as possible, I want to avoid her question and I want to hear her answer to my question first. "Do you like me?" She also answered with a question while still staring at me. I didn't give her an answer and kept staring at her instead. Just feeling the strange beating of my heart and listening to what it was saying. "Y-Yes, Alpha Haria. I-I like you," I answered seriously. She did not speak again and just smiled a little after hearing my answer, as if she felt a strange joy in her heart. Then, she slowly closed her eyes and brought her face closer to mine until our lips met. I was slightly surprised by what she did as I did not expect that. I just suddenly felt her lips touching mine. I immediately responded to her kisses and felt the sweetness of them. Until our kisses became wild but passionate and Haria put both of her hands around my neck.
HARIA'S POV "I'm cumming! I'm cumming! Aaahhh… Shit! Fuck!" A lot of juice was coming out of my womanhood and I couldn't stop it as I'd already been swallowed up by the lust that I was feeling. "Don't stop, please. Don't stop." He accelerated what he was doing even more and it's getting harder and harder. Then, we were surprised and Jacob immediately stopped what he was doing when someone from outside spoke. It was a voice of a man so it was probably Jacob's friend who was the owner of this resort. "Jacob. Are you already asleep? We haven't even finished drinking yet. I was just busy taking care of some guests so I couldn't get back…" He's getting near the door and only then did we realize that we forgot to lock it because of the excitement to taste each other's body. Jacob and I quickly picked up our clothes that were scattered on the floor. But even before we were able to put them on, that man already appeared in front of us after he got inside without even a slight hesitation
JACOB'S POV Is it already the end for me now? That was the question that came to my mind as I continued to receive powerful blows from Alpha Jomer. He could kill me right now in an instant, and with the temper that he has, it's really possible for that thing to happen. I just closed my eyes as I'd already accepted my bitter fate when Haria suddenly came and immediately stopped her brother from what he was doing. I tried to get up to somehow show Haria that I was fine so she didn't need to intervene. She will only get in trouble if she continues acting this way. But I struggled to stand up and I could barely move because of the beating that I got. The wolf inside me keeps on telling me to fight back as it might be the last moments of my life. But I can't do that. Especially now that Haria is here, trying to do things to make her brother stop what he was doing. And Alpha Jomer really got mad at his sister. He even wanted to give her a strong blow to shut her up but General Parks sudde
