I felt a gentle caress on my face.

My whole body was sore and my head felt heavy. But despite the uncomfortable feeling, I was forced to open my eyes and was surprised to see the handsome face of my mate, staring at me with so much love while his arms were around me, pulling me into a warm cuddle.
