HUNTER’s POV

It hasn’t been easy convincing Zane to free all the nightcrawlers and give witches back their own will. They are people, too, and he had no right to keep them behind doors when their eyes are looking out the window. They want freedom. Ava, no, Valkerie, wants peace. I’m sure Ava would want the same thing.

I could say that much when I spoke to her dragon the first time. She claims to be the first dragon, and judging by the strength of her aura and magical sphere, a new term I picked up from Brock who’s still waiting for us back at the pack house, knowing him shaking his dragon ass would shake the entire pack.

When Zane refused to give them back their freedom and break the spell he cast upon nightcrawlers, or should I say the last few dragon shifters, I stopped to think when an idea popped in my mind.
