(Kaeleigh’s POV)
I clung to Adam as I screamed for help. There was blood everywhere, and his eyes were fluttering. Dayna was crying.
“Why can’t I do anything?” she screamed. “Adam I mean it, don’t you dare die on me, not when I have just told you I love you.” I looked up at her in shock and she looked at me, tears streaming.
“Kaeleigh, tell him he can’t die. We agreed. We are choosing each other as mates. He has to live.” She shook Adam as his eyes closed. “Kaeleigh, order him, please,” I shook my head and looked down at Adam in my arms.
“Why did you do something as stupid as that?” I cried at him and his eyelids fluttered open again. He looked up and smiled.
