~Ivan~

After Camila ran to her room, I walked into my room and headed to the bathroom. I took off my clothes and turned on the shower.

‘You need to stop whatever this is with Camila. People already think that skank is your girlfriend and we don’t want Natalie getting the wrong idea.’ Striker growled. 

‘Don’t you think I haven’t tried! The chic is stubborn as hell.’ I rub my face, feeling agitated because he’s right. ‘Well try harder, if not I’ll rip her throat out!’ He said angrily. 'Gamma or not, I can't stand her next to us anymore.'

I got in the shower and lowered my head to let the water run down my broad shoulders and back. Natalie began to invade my thoughts. 

The girl has no idea what she does to me. My c*ck stirs and begins to harden at the thought of having her in front of me. A few minutes pass when Jerry walks into my office. “What’s up Ivan, you rang!?” He teased, pointing at his head. 

Jerry, Axel, and Camila are allowed to call me Ivan without using my title, especially if we are alone or having a group conversation when it's the four of us. However, since Camila’s been irritating the crap out of me, I’ve punished her by demanding that she use my title. 

I am a dedicated individual and I take my position seriously. Being the head of the pack is not to be taken lightly. I’ll have a pack to govern soon, making life-or-death decisions.

She’s part of it and from here forward, she will have to understand that I cannot condone that type of behavior, especially if we are not together. I allowed it in my bedroom but that’s over with. Either she takes her rank seriously or I’ll have to strip her of her title and find another Gamma. 

Funny though, her job is to protect her future Luna.

“Yup, I got a mission for you, but this is low-key,” I said glaring at him. 

“Okay, whatcha got?!” Jerry said excitedly. 

“You know Natalie Adams from the academy? From Christian’s Pack?” I asked.

“Yeah…who doesn’t! She’s freaking hot!” He shamelessly replied. 

I growled. “I want you to look into her background,” I ordered.

He covered his mouth and jokingly said, “Whaaa…?!” I pinched the bridge of my nose and frowned. “Well, can you or can you not?!” I gritted out, sounding bothered. He’s the clown out of the four of us. Sometimes I don’t have time for his buffoonery.

He knows how to irritate me and does it. Chuckling he replied, “Of course I can, anything for you, bro. Is there something I should specifically be looking for? You know, a little heads up.”

“You’ve seen her get angry?” I questioned knowing everyone had seen her pissed and he bopped his head. “So you’ve noticed her aura. I can’t help but sense power and strength as if she comes from a high rank, but her parents are warriors.” I spoke dispassionately. 

It may not be a big deal to others but since I’ve had my eyes on her, I’m curious to know if there is more to that beauty. If she has an unknown past, Jerry will find out.

“I think there's more than meets the eye with her. She is different. It’s like Camila, she's a Gamma because of her dad, but Natalie seems to be stronger than a Gamma if you get my drift.” 

“Ah, okay. I’ll get to it then. You don’t have to explain…it makes sense,” he said. 

“This cannot leave this room. This has to stay between us,” I decree. I know I could trust him so there's no need to repeat myself. 

The less people know what I do, the better. I don’t like others in my business and to me this is paramount.

“Got it! I’m a sealed tomb, Alpha.” Jerry retorted, mimicking a zipper closing across his lips and left. Jerry is my best tracker and hacker when it comes to technology. He is a genius, very observant, and fast. That’s why he is our Delta.

I was finishing up some paperwork that my Father had left for me to take care of. I yawned and realized it was dark outside. I checked my watch and noticed it was past my bedtime. I quickly set the unfinished documents aside, got up from my chair, and made my way to my room.

As I got closer the scent of another wolf hit my nose and Striker began to growl. ‘It’s her.’ Striker snarled.

I instinctively sensed who he was talking about. I flung the door open and stood stock-still when I saw Camila lying nude on my bed. I roared, “WHAT THE F*CK!?” I was seething. 

“Let me help you release some stress, Alpha. Lately, you’ve seemed stressed.” She tried to sound seductive, but her voice annoyed me.

My eyes dilated as Striker wanted to lash out. It took everything in me to hold him back; from me shifting. I roared that I was sure everyone in the pack house heard me. “GET OUT!!!!! NOW!!!!” Striker and I bellowed in fury.

Her eyes opened wide with fear, whimpering and stumbling as she got out of my bed grabbing her clothes from the floor. I shoved her out harshly from my room and slammed my door, not caring if it hit her. 

“Something is mentally wrong with her!” I exhaled forcefully in frustration. “Dammit! I’ll have to punish her.” I fumed, fisting my hands tightly.  

I am a very patient man and it takes a lot for me to lose my patience. If I can’t make her understand the easy way, then she’ll learn the hard way. She will be punished for defying me.

I walked into my restroom and looked at my reflection. My verdant meadow eyes were darker than usual. She pissed me off.

I splash water on my face and watch the drops of water slide down my thick black eyelashes. I look exactly like my Father; I have his dark bushy tamed eyebrows and his sharp jawline. I’ve been compared to looking like a young version of Adrian Grenier but I don’t agree. For one my hair is straight and it’s raven black. I am 6 '6, and I work out daily so my body is well-built and sculpted. I will say that I feel like we share the same smile; however, I have dimples and my lips are plumped.

Male wolves have way better bodies than human males in my opinion. We train daily; looking fit and strong is part of our lifestyle. We are also taller than your average man.

I sigh heavily, shaking the bits of anger left in my veins. I glanced back in the mirror and noticed my tresses were longer than usual. Tomorrow I’ll head to town and get a haircut, perhaps get some much-needed items for school. With that, I head to bed and let sleep consume me.
