Confrontation

In the evening, as Matheus had told me, the meeting was held. I put on a silk vest so as not to feel uncomfortable while I was in that place. It was one of the most exclusive places in the city, and the most watched by the police.

To go unnoticed, I was given black glasses and black clothes to be in line with everyone's attire. I had four other companions who were around the place, and they were waiting for orders from Matheus or the Chief.

This mission had me very nervous, it was obvious that something was going to happen here. Everything looked very calm, despite the tension due to the war between two groups of gangsters.

The streets were full of people going in pairs and with their group of friends in training places like these. Most stores and restaurants were open and with armed security personnel. I just looked on the right side of the street, there was a cold breeze that announced a possible storm in a few hours. The quiet that could be heard at that hour was interrupted by th
