Chapter 3

TWO WOLVES were pulling the wagon she was in. They'll be taking her to the cabin outside their town. It was Martha's request to throw her out of the town for good.

It honestly scares her because of the memory that happened to her and her husband. She's scared to stay outside the forest but she was left with no choice. She already sent a letter to the orphanage where she grew up. Her friends still stayed there so she was hoping to receive a good news from them.

She would rather go back to the orphanage than stay at the woods alone.

The journey was a bit long. She didn't know it was too far and it made her fear double. As soon as they arrive at the destination, the wolves only helped her carry her things before immediately leaving.

Her heart was thumping so fast and wild, her breathing became ragged and uneven. Her teeth sunk on her lower lip and she was starting to feel her blood coming from her lips. With trembling hands, she reached for the door knob and was about to open it when someone from inside opened it for her.

The man inside stopped from walking out when he saw who it was in front of him. 

Fiona's lips parted from shock, her eyes scanned Joaquin's messy hair, down to his still sleepy eyes until her vision reached his naked body.

"Damn, my back hurts so much." Aiden ruined the silence for them and stretch his arms out. "I'll get going now. Enjoy your stay, mademoiselle." 

She couldn't see his face but according to his voice, he has those playful and boyish grin plastered across his face. He shifted into a wolf even before she can see his nakedness. He runs through the wild, leaving her and Joaquin with an awkward silence.

"C-Can you please dress up." Her voice came out soft and squeak. She didn't hear his answer but she heard him walking back inside.

It took him a few minutes, she was listening to the sound so she'll know when he's approaching. "All done." His cold voice sent shiver down her spine, especially when his breath touches her nape.

She can feel him so near her and she couldn't face him. She felt his hand on her, he's trying to grab her bags for her so he can lift it up inside. 

When she heard his footsteps walking away, that's when she finally let out the breath she didn't know she's stopping. She followed him inside and was surprised to see the whole place clean.

She was expecting it to be muddy and dusty. 

"There are food in the cupboard. Newly sewed clothes are also in the drawer. You can choose to wear those if you want." The authority in his voice never faded, it usually irritates Fiona for she felt like one of his warriors when he talk to her with that tone. She hated it.

Though her thought was still sailing away from what was happening. She can't believe she's thinking about it now but... Is he gay!? Did she disturb them from doing something!?

Those were running inside her mind when someone snapped a finger at her. "What's running inside that head of yours?" He asked in a flat tone.

She swallowed the lump in her throat and pinched her hand to stop her heart from beating too loudly. 

"I'm sorry for disturbing you. I didn't know you two were doing something and... I also didn't know you're a... gay." 

There. She finally said what's running on her mind and to think that Joaquin was shock would be an understatement.

She held her head up and saw him staring at her thoroughly. He was biting his lower lip from the side and his hands were placed on his fit waist. His jaw clench, turning his eyes from him. She can't tell if he's angry or not, or maybe he's restraining.

JOAQUIN WANTED to throw hands. He can't explain what he's feeling right now but for sure if it wasn't Fiona who said those, that human or wolf might be buried ten feet under ground. 

He is really offended but he can't hurt her. He rather accept being gay than to hurt her.

He try to calm himself down before facing her again. She looks so worried at the thought of disturbing them, and damn! Why didn't he thought of this in the first place. He and Aiden slept in the same bed, both naked, but it's been like that since they're young. 

He wanted to explain so badly but it'll make him look desperate and defensive, which was the last thing he wanted to show as an Alpha. His pride was stopping him.

"Uhmm... Please tell him my apologies too. I wasn't able to tell it to him earlier because I'm still shock–"

Frustration won over him, he didn't let her finish her sentence and pushed her, her back hitting the wall, stopping her words and looking at him with confusion.

He looks so tiny beside him, he was hovering over her as his strong set of arms caged her in between. "I am not a gay. Aiden is my best friend and we didn't do the deed." He tried to explain which he shouldn't be doing but was left with no choice.

Fiona had a small smirk on her face that only adds up to the frustration he's feeling. 

"Stop looking at me like that." He commanded, his voice was stern but his face says otherwise. 

"You know it's fine, you could've just told us earlier. I'm sure your parents and Franco would accept you for who you are–"

He didn't stop himself and put all his frustration to a kiss. He pinned her arms up and lift her waist up until he can reach her lips. She was surprised at his move so he took the chance to enter his tongue to her parted lips.

Giving it a last check, Joaquin shifted into his wolf and run towards the town of Silvermist pack. His head and chest both heavy, he can't help but overthink if it was an accident or did she really felt his brother from his kisses. 

It's still too early but he howled under the sun, it was a sign of war but he couldn't care less. They are only allowed to howl at night, and howling in the morning means war. 

He saw how the morning wolves of Silvermist pack got startled, they recognize him by giving up the way so he can enter their town. He went straight to their pack house, towards Aiden's room where he can hear his moans together with some she-wolves.

He entered the room without knocking and the servants didn't even bother stopping him. His eyes settled to Aiden with three she-wolves around him. 

They're all sweaty and naked, a mixture of cum and alcohol spread across the room. Aiden was the first one to see him and his brow arch.

"What?" His best friend asked.
