Unexpected Meeting

A. L. ZandersHey, y'all! I know it's been awhile. I've had family issues going on. My grandfather had cancer and I became his primary caretaker--on top of going to school and working full time. Unfortunately, he passed away and it took me some extra time before I could pick up writing again. After reviewing my outline for Alpha Kade and refamiliarizing myself with Kade and Emilia, I think I'm ready to dive back in! Right now, there may not be an exact schedule, but I'm hoping to post at least three to four chapters a week. Thank you for understanding!

Alpha Kade First Night
Emilia’s POVThe rest of the day flies by quickly. I attend training with Marcus, where he assures me once again to try to give Alpha Kade a chance, and then I go to class. After class, I help with dinner and prep before cleaning up. I do everything I can to not think about the Alpha who’s going to be my new roommate in less than twelve hours. I go to my room—well, my old room—only to realize all my stuff is already gone. Dammit. I wanted a few minutes to myself to pack and figure out if I’m truly ready for this. Emilia’s POV “Have you spoken to Alpha Kade yet?” Marcus says gravelly. “I met with him this morning before I did breakfast prep.” I swallow, taking a deep breath before asking the question that’s been on my mind. “Was it being genuine, Beta Marcus? I don’t know how I feel about all this…I have wanted a mate for as long as I can remember, but something feels off with this. Emilia's POV I rush from Alpha Kade's office, my mind spinning from what just happened. What does he mean he has changed his mind? Alpha Kade’s POVThere’s a sour taste in my mouth when I asked her to give me a chance. Even more of a sour taste when I told her she didn’t need to worry about anything and can stay on the Alpha floor.
