“Who the hell does she think she is coming in here with her demands?” I ask my Beta. “She doesn’t understand our arrangements with her father. Clearly, she isn’t aware of his business practices,” the Beta responds.
Sitting and stewing for a moment, I ponder the situation. We didn’t have enough time to clean everything up, but we could have people working on things when she arrived tomorrow. We would also have appropriate Omegas for her to speak with; those who understood their place in the Pack.
