Kate POV
“What do you mean, which sister?” I ask. Boyd has a funny look on his face and starts to laugh. “What do you mean, which sister Boyd?” I ask as I slam my hands down on the table putting a crack in it.
“Temper, temper, Kate,” Boyd taunts. “You want my help, you give me immunity,” he says. “No,” I reply coldly. “Then it seems we are at an impasse, Kate,” Boyd sits back cockily. “You see Boyd, I don’t think you have the upper hand you think you do. The only thing you are fighting for right now is whether you get a reprieve and stay in the cells for a term deemed appropriate for your crimes or you die. I guess the choice is really yours, Boyd” I say softly.

Kate POV Running into the cells I go through to the one with the door open. The Pack Doctor is there trying to resuscitate Louise. I have a moment of catching my breath. She was only my sister for a short period of time yet seeing her lying on the floor catches me off guard. Before I can turn to ask the guards what happened, the Pack Doctor calls her time of death. Colby POV It had been three weeks, and nothing had changed. I had to get back to my Pack, but I didn’t want to leave Kate. I knew from her doctor they were just waiting for her to come out of the coma. The mood around her Pack had been somber. Everyone was waiting.
