It wasn't what I expected when I heard their entitlement-demanding advances. They didn't force me the first night on the day I opened my eyes. I was too weak and confused at the time. And all that time they were trying to get closer to me.

Zeph for Zephyr, Zai for Zaire, and Zach for Zacharias. I had gotten used to calling them by their nicknames. Although they were my mates and husbands, I never expected them to be so kind to me.

They were warm as if they wanted to be a thick blanket for my body that easily gets cold when I'm sick. They were gentle as if I were a branch that was easily broken. And they treated me sweetly as if they wanted to erase all the bitter memories in my life.

Why? Why are they so kind to me? Is it because of the bond between us? If it was like that, I would have gotten love from my family long ago.

"No, forget that." I shook my head. I need to focus on myself right now.

Three days ago I might have been able to dodge, but not tonight. This day was set, the day of our first night.

A tinge of red stained my cheeks. I look down, staring at the fiery red lingerie that I'm trying to cover with the blanket. The thin, lacy dress was a recommendation from the servants, so I didn't know if this was the right thing to do or not.

The sound of shuffling feet could be heard approaching. My heartbeat was uncontrollable when my eyes caught the object of her desire. They started to climb up the spacious bed and approached me who was in the middle of the bed.

"You don't need to be tense, Ruby. We will treat you well."

I was amused as Zaire's fingers caressed my face in slow, gentle movements. My right eye blinked as Zephyr's soft lips touched my forehead and slowly crept to my lips.

I closed my eyes feeling the hot sensation that spread throughout my body. As if they were waiting for me to let my guard down, Zaire and Zacharias moved quickly to remove the blanket that was wrapped around my body. As soon as I realized it, I had been made to lie down by Zephyr.

"I-I'm embarrassed. Please don't look at me like that." My arms crossed in front of my chest. They looked at me intensely without blinking, as if they had forgotten the role of the pair of eyelids they had.

"Lower your hands, dear. You can't hide this beauty from us." Zacharias smiled seductively. His face, ah no, more like their face blushed just like mine.

"You are very beautiful, Ruby," Zephyr complimented with a sweet smile.

"Enough of this thin red cloth. Although this makes you look very beautiful, we want more than this." Zaire suddenly grabbed the lingerie on my body and ripped it off with a single jerk.

I was startled with a pair of raised eyebrows. The only fabric covering my body was now gone. My mouth opened to protest, but Zacharias ferociously devoured my lips as if they were candy.

A low sigh passed through the small gap in my silenced lips. I felt something wet while playing with my pair of balls. A rough, oversized hand grasped one of them, and the other was being played with by a long tongue.

My body jerked as mischievous fingers that were three times the size of mine tried to get in. It slowly relaxed again due to their gentle and soothing touch.

"You're already wet. I'll get started."

Hearing Zaphyr's voice ringing beautifully in my ears, my consciousness instantly rose. My breath was hot like a burst of fire. Although the look in my eyes dimmed with fear there, my body reacted as if it wanted to demand something.

My eyes wide open and tearful received a sweet kiss from Zaire. Zaire and Zacharias were at it again with their mischievous and teasing actions.

This hurt.

A very large object jerked at my bottom. It kept trying to get inside me even though my stomach felt like it was going to explode right now.

My gaze was occupied by Zaire's long staff that stood upright in front of my face. While my pair of hands were aimed at Zacharias' long staff.

My tensed body was jerked strongly. The flowing tears I couldn't stop. Slowly their gentle touch turned passionate.

Is this a reasonable size? Why is theirs so big?

The sunlight that seemed to be able to pierce my back was trying to pull my consciousness. The softness that enveloped my body made me reluctant to move, but my eyes had a different opinion. They were so disturbed by the light.

"Please close the curtains," I muttered softly while blinking repeatedly. My hand moved to feel around. As soon as I found emptiness, I sat up with a pair of wide-open lethargic eyes.

"They're gone?" I muttered with a small yawn. A second later I felt a pain like an electric shock throughout my body. Spontaneously, my back went back to find the bed.

"Why did they leave me here alone? Usually, they would wait until I woke up, but not this time. They've made my body like this from fighting all night," I grumbled with pursed lips.

"Why did you open the curtain so wide? Close them again!" I ordered as I wanted to go back to sleep for a while longer.

My forehead scrunched up. I turned my head to the side as my order was not carried out. That's when I could feel the hostile gaze given by the two unknown servants.

Who are they? They're not the servants who served me three days in a row. Was there a change of servants? But why were they looking at me like that?

The pain I felt in my body vanished as soon as the liquid object slapped my face. The cold, murky water fell from the tips of my hair and traveled down my curves to end up on the blanket.

"Hah, you've done enough acting as the wife of the Alpha Kings. You're not very suitable standing next to them. You're ruining the beautiful scenery into a nightmare." A servant with freckles that filled her cheeks was staring at me with a sharp gaze. She was holding her chest with her face raised as if to make me look low at the moment.

"I will be polite to you one last time, Miss O'Malley. The Alpha Kings have achieved their goal, which is to spend the night with you who is their mate. So, please prepare to leave the Celestial Dawn pack. You have been banished by the Alpha Kings."

My forehead scrunched up deeply. I looked at the servant with blonde hair and the servant with freckles on her cheeks in turn. Although their words might be wrong, doubts began to arise in my heart.

"It's been years since Miss Rainier prepared herself well to fill Luna Celestial Dawn pack's position. You can't suddenly take her place just because you're a mate of the Alpha Kings." After saying that, the servant with blonde hair smiled with satisfaction.

"You should realize your place. You are just the woman on the bed for the Alpha Kings. Of course that is only because of their wolves. What werewolf could resist the temptation of the mate they were destined for?"

"Hahaha, so true."

Until now I had not accepted unconditional kindness. So, should I also suspect Zephyr, Zaire, and Zacharias of being kind to me? Even though they are my mates and husbands?

If it's true that they're going to throw me away, then where will I end up? Will I go back to the Wildfire pack? To that suffocating place?

I don't want to!

I rose to my feet, ignoring the pain that throbbed around my waist. My gaze was locked on those two pairs of eyes that held such hatred. A few seconds of silence enveloped the room until finally the sound of thumping was heard.

My knee was in a lot of pain right now. I unintentionally slapped my knee hard on the floor, but it just happened because fear was overpowering me at the moment.

"Please, give me a chance. Please give me a job here. Even menial work is fine. I-I... don't want to go back." I looked down so deeply that my hair covered my entire face. My trembling hands tightly gripped the hem of my pajamas.

I almost forgot about how harsh the world was just because I was treated well by my mates. Here, no one loves me and it will forever remain that way.

I think I'm crazy for forgetting this fact.

The creaking of the door sounded like music. I turned my head to look to the side. Where my three husbands were standing in the doorway with many people behind them. Wait, why are they with so many people? Judging by their appearance and the confidence on their faces, it seemed like they were important people in the Celestial Dawn pack. What were they doing at the door of the room?

"What are you doing to my wife right now?!"

A loud yell and a deadly jolt of aura made me jump in surprise. My body fell from its upright position and ended up sitting on the floor. Before I could turn my head to look for the source of the voice, a strong spray of blood hit my face.

My eyes rounded. A fishy smell filled my sense of smell.

This... How could this have happened?

That morning, the air felt heavy. Though spring had begun to warm the earth, a thin mist still lingered among the trees. The sun shone dimly, as if hesitant to pierce through the gray cloud cover. I sat on the edge of the bed, my fingers unconsciously caressing my stomach, which had felt different lately. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my increasingly irregular heartbeat.“Ruby?” Zephyr’s voice sounded at the doorway. There was a note of concern he couldn’t hide. He stepped closer, his eyes sweeping over my face. “Is something wrong?”I shook my head, but tears were already flowing. Zephyr’s gaze grew sharper, forcing the truth out. When the doctor arrived and uttered those words—pregnant—all sound in the room seemed to fade away. Zacharias, who had been standing by the window, turned with wide eyes.“I… am happy,” my voice barely a whisper, “but I’m also afraid.”“Afraid of what?” Zacharias asked, his voice hoarse, as if he already knew the answer.I lowered my head, my fingers

The ground was still wet with blood when we left the battlefield. The heavy footsteps of the warriors behind me echoed like an endless lament. The smell of iron and smoke lingered in the air, stinging my nose, mingling with the suffocating scent of death.Carried by Zephyr, Zaire's body lay motionless. His face was pale, as if he were in a long sleep that would never end. My eyes couldn't tear themselves away from him; every second felt like a knife slicing painfully into my heart. Zacharias walked on the right side, staring straight ahead, but his jaw was clenched, holding back the turmoil within his chest. Occasionally, I saw his hands clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. No words were spoken, only a heavy silence. The other warriors walked with their heads bowed. Some of them were quietly sobbing. A young warrior whispered to his comrade, his voice trembling, “He saved my life earlier… I didn’t even get to say thank you.” The others nodded, wiping away tears with

The magical explosion erupted in the air like fireworks bursting in the dark night—only there was no beauty, only destruction. The heat wave swept across my face, burning my skin. I saw it: dozens of black fireballs hurtling toward our troops, followed by bursts of purple energy spears spinning like vicious snakes. Screams filled the air, but amidst the chaos, our warriors held their ground, tearing through and piercing the enemy lines. They knew one thing: destroy the wizard casting the spell, and the rain of death would cease.“It’s a shame I can only take a few seconds of your focus, but aren’t you truly curious about the death of your parents?” he said again.I refocused my gaze. “You’re just a mad sorcerer who takes everything for your experiments. What do you know about my parents, huh? Shut your mouth! I’ll take your life soon.” A bolt of lightning flew toward him, but he easily dodged it.“Do you want to protect those still alive? You’re so noble, Ruby.”I deflected one explos

Ruby Maverick's POVMy gaze sharpened. About five kilometers away from us, the black wizards were ready. There were more than a thousand of them, a number I never expected. Meanwhile, our total number was 1,300, and we were dominated by close-range attackers. Yet we had to cover this long distance. Well, but that fact certainly didn’t dampen the fire in our hearts. “For now, we must focus on the few black wizards who have descended onto the field,” I thought to myself, a smirk curving my lips. “ATTACK!” Zephyr’s voice boomed, met with roars and cheers from the others. The first explosion erupted in the air like a war drum splitting the earth. From the front lines, I saw a wave of black wizard troops charging—their robes fluttering wildly, faces hidden beneath dark hoods, eyes blazing with intense hatred. The smell of sulfur, gunpowder smoke, and blood mingled in the biting cold air."Form a defensive line!" shouted one of the commanders, raising his sharp claws toward the sky. His

Ruby Maverick’s POVZephyr’s words hung in the air like thick fog that was difficult to dispel. The room felt silent, with only the beating of my heart pounding against my temples. I looked at my three mates—Zephyr, Zaire, Zacharias—and saw the seriousness that pinned them in place. There were no smiles, no jokes. Only the raw truth they had just revealed.“The oath’s contents…” Zephyr began, his voice heavy, “…are that if we betray the black wizard clan by killing their leader, the life of the one who draws the knife will also vanish. If any one of us—or even all of us—kills him, then we too will be killed.”Those words pierced me deeper than I had anticipated. I could see how Zaire bowed his head, his jaw tightening, and Zacharias clenching his fist at his side. They knew how terrifying the boundary set by the oath was.I stepped forward, ignoring the distance between us. My hand reached out, grasping them one by one, before finally embracing all three of them at once. They were sti

Zephyr Maverick’s POVEven before the words left my lips, I could feel Ruby’s breath catch, as if the air around her had turned heavy. Her eyes fixed on me, as if trying to find a crack in my face, waiting for an explanation she knew would not be easy to hear.“There’s something we’ve never told you…” My voice was low, but its weight felt like it was shaking my chest. Beside me, Zaire and Zacharias stood silent as statues, but I could feel the waves of their emotions—anger long buried, sorrow that never faded, and guilt that never truly went away.I nodded slowly, my hands resting on Zaire and Zacharias’s wrists. “We’ve agreed to tell you this. Though our hearts are still filled with anxiety, fearing you’ll distance yourself from us once you learn of our dark past.”Ruby clasped our hands together, shaking her head firmly. “Never. I will never leave you.”Those two sentences managed to lift the weight on my heart slightly. “This happened when we were sixteen years old.”Flashback onT
