Epilogue

CAROLINE ESTER'S POV

I thought life was over for me.

"He took him."

Hanna was crying on the floor. Those were the line that made me lose interest in escaping.

"Lexus took Roi. I already created a plan to help you escape but he used the child to stop me from doing so."

It felt like my only chance of escape crumpled. I took her hands and pressed it nervously.

"I do not care about escaping. I just want you to make sure that my son is safe. Who knows what he can do."

Lexus knew what he was doing that day. He even gave me an offer— a conditional one. I asked Hanna to go back and find my son.

Why would I escape if my son is being held by him.

"You are free now. I am letting you go but once you step out of that cell, everything that you will left here, you can't take back." The sly smile on his face screams torment.
