Unchangeable Fate

Eden twisted her fingers nervously as she waited on the bed for Lucas to enter the room. Would he want them to be intimate tonight? Did she want them to be intimate tonight? She felt like she was going crazy with all the questions running through her mind.

Lucas entered the bedroom and saw her sitting on the bed playing with her fingers. He smiled as he looked at her, Eden could be such a cutie.

"Eden, are you okay?" he asked.

"I am fine, are you about to sleep?" she asked.

"Yes." Lucas answered.

"on the bed?"

"Yes Eden, on the bed." Lucas tried not to laugh at how Eden was behaving.

He walked closer to her and sat beside her, she immediately scooted to the farthest corner to avoid him.

Lucas moved closer to where she was. He held her hands, Eden was so nervous she couldn't even look up.

"Eden, I know you are nervous, I want you to know that I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do. Anytime you are ready, we will make love." he told her gently.

Eden looked up at him shyly, "do you mean it?"

"Yes Eden I mean it. So you don't have to be nervous about tonight and you can sleep comfortably."

"Thank you so much Lucas."

"Enough of the thanks, now go to sleep."

Eden lay on the bed and went to sleep, Lucas lay beside her and the both of them slept off.

Later that night, Lucas heard a soft knock on the door. He went to open it and was shocked to see Maya.

He quickly went outside and locked the door behind him gently so he wouldn't wake Eden up.

He then dragged Maya outside the house.

"What are you doing here?" he asked her.

"I missed you." Maya said with a pout.

"You saw me this morning Maya, have you forgotten?"

She reached her hand down and grabbed his dick through his pants. "how could I forget babe? You gave it to me so good."

Lucas removed her hands, "Seriously Maya, what do you want? It's my wedding night for goodness sake."

Maya laughed at his words, "Wedding night? To her? Wait a minute did you sleep with her or something?"

"No, I didn't."

"Good. Because you are mine." Maya stated.

"Maya, when I agreed to this, you promised me that Eden won't be hurt." Lucas told her.

"But I didn't hurt her."

"Maya, you are here with me at this time of the night, what is anybody going to think? Of course Eden is going to be hurt if she sees us like this."

"And what about me? Don't you think I am also hurt seeing her with you acting all lovey dovey." Maya questioned.

Lucas looked at her bewildered, "You were the one who suggested this whole thing in the first place, if you are no longer happy, I can go tell her the truth right now."

"No, I didn't mean it like that, it's just that I am jealous."

"You have no reason to be jealous, when the time is right, we will tell her about us, okay?"

"okay."

Lucas kissed her forehead, "Good girl, now go to sleep, see you tomorrow."

"Goodnight."

Lucas watched Maya leave before he also went back to bed. On his way back, he ran into Odi.

"Where are you coming from?" Odi asked.

"I went to take a quick walk, I couldn't sleep."

"I know the feeling, it can be unnerving knowing that you are responsible for a full pack."

"Yes, I am scared that I will be horrible at it." Lucas admitted.

"Come with me" Odi said, Lucas followed him to his office where he poured him a glass of whiskey.

"Eden's father used to say that one shouldn't be afraid of something until he has tried it out. Until you have tried it out being an Alpha, don't be scared of it, do you understand?"

"Yes, thank you Odi."

"You are welcome, I want to request something from you."

"What is it, anything you want?"

"I want you to take care of Eden, don't make her sad ever, the girl has gone through a lot in life. I just want her to be happy from now on."

"I will do my best to make her happy." Lucas promised Odi.

"Good, now go and have a goodnight rest."

Lucas stood up, "Good night Odi." he said and left.

Lucas went back to bed and joined Ava in bed.

Royal Pack of the werewolves

Kylian, the King sat on his throne and sipped from a goblet which he held in his hands. One of his servants approached him.

"My king." the servant knelt on the floor.

"Yes, have you found her?" Kylian asked.

"No, there was no trace of the woman in that pack."

"Are you sure?" Kylian asked.

"Yes my lord, we went to crystal moon pack, the Alpha had six sons and no daughter. His wife looked nothing like that woman."

"So she lied to me, but no one can lie to me." Kylian wondered.

"I think it was an half truth my lord. When I asked around, the Alpha had a sister who bears the same name as that woman and she used to live there until she got married and went to another pack. She is dead now but she has just one daughter and the age of the girl matches the time frame that woman came to us." He reported.

"what is the name of the pack she moved to?" Kylian asked.

"Firemoon pack, my king."

"So she mixed up the truth with the lie, did she really think that she could hide from me? The moment she promised that child to me, I was already imprinted as her mate. Nothing can change her fate." Kylian laughed out loud.

"What do we do my king? Do we go to the pack to find her?"

"There is no rush, for now we are just going to observe things." Kylian replied.
