The sterile smell of the hospital room filled my senses, mingling with the quiet hum of the machines. The soft beeping of the heart monitor seemed to echo in my ears, like a reminder of how fragile Miracle’s life was at this moment. I sat beside her, my hand gripping hers, as if the simple touch could somehow transfer my strength into her small, fragile body.

I couldn't stop looking at her—my little girl, who had always been so full of life, so full of laughter. Now, she lay so still, connected to various machines that beeped and blinked like tiny, silent witnesses to her suffering.

I wanted to scream. I wanted to tear apart the walls around me. The guilt, the regret—it was choking me. Everything I had ever done, every decision I had made, had led to this point.
