CHAPTER 91

ROSIE'S QUESTION.

Haven thought she had forgotten everything. She thought she had left all the bad memories behind. The memories of being betrayed by the one man she truly loved and a friend she could give up her own life for, she believed she had forgotten the painful memories but she was terribly wrong. The more Rosie spoke, the more Haven was reminded of the ugly past she tried to hard to forget.

Haven couldn’t afford to get hurt anymore. She would do whatever it took to protect the pieces of what was left of her heart. Even if it meant not listening to Rosie’s nonsense again.

Shutting her eyes, she took a deep breath. “ If you wont stop talking to me about this, then i don’t see the use of being friends anymore”.

Haven could only imagine the look on Rosie’s face as she heard her gasp. She clenched her fists willing herself to open her eyes. As she did, her eyes fell on a stunned looking Rosie. Her expression held a mixture of both shock and surprise as she stared back at Haven.
